"Ladies and gentlemen, make some noise for the half-time show!"

The lights dim, the music starts to play and a rainbow disco ball is lowered from the ceiling…and keeps getting lower. A few feet from the stage on the field, the ball drops out of the air and lands to reveal a turtle with sparkly scales.

"Get ready for a flava bomb," he cries into the mic and the field fills with dancers.

Unfortunately, the dancers are wearing fruit costumes, and some of them are watermelons. The turtle's eyes glow red and he jumps off the stage.

The half-time show ends up giving a new meaning to the Carnage Cup.

You and your fellows manage to escape the stadium. Just before you're going to portal away, Chef Casey coughs. "Can my new friend come?" she asks.

"New friend?"

She shuffles aside guiltily, revealing the sparkly turtle. "TUR7L3 didn't mean to do it….plus his skills would come in handy."

The turtle's eyes turn into hearts temporarily. "Please?"

There was definitely carnage in there…"Sure, why not," you reply.

TUR7L3 has joined the party.

New Tier 7 Objectives

Recruit TUR7L3 | TUR7L3 takes up a slot in the formation. Groklok the Orc and Drizzle the Dark Elf take up spots in formation and can't be removed. Other than the locked-in Crusaders, only Dwarf or Leprechaun Crusaders can be used. Legendary effects are disabled. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Bullet Hell on Ready Player Two to complete. Beat area 650.

Team Elf | Karl the Kicker and Cindy the Cheer-Orc take up spots in formation and can't be removed. Other than the locked-in Crusaders, only Elf Crusaders can be used. Active abilities (Fire Storm, etc.) can't be used. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Washed Up on World's Wake to complete. Beat area 750.

Team Dworc | Griz the Robo-Coach and Nargulg Granitehand take up spots in formation and can't be removed. Other than the locked-in Crusaders, only Orc or Dwarf Crusaders can be used. The formation has been changed. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Washed Up on World's Wake to complete. Beat area 800.

Team Malice | Morrigan the Furious takes up a spot in formation and can't be removed. Other than the locked-in Crusader, only Evil Crusaders can be used. Monsters spawn in waves of 13 and move faster across the screen. Note: This will require having purchased the max level of the Arithmagician Talent to complete. Beat area 850.

Team Shuffle | Pascal, Highest Bidder Mascot takes up a spot in formation and can't be removed. A magical escort takes up a spot in the formation. For every Crusader in the formation who matches Pascal's tag, the escort grants you a 1000% DPS buff, stacking multiplicatively. Note: This will require having purchased the max level of the Arithmagician Talent to complete. Beat area 900.

Who's the real MVP? Who's in the suit? No one knows, maybe it changes, but a great sense of humor is a requirement for donning the mascot mantle.

Pascal hypes the crowd and helps the formation, but since we never know who is in the suit, the buffs change dependent on Pascal's own tags.

When you're ready to add Pascal to your formations, you can find them in seat 36.

New Tier 6 Objectives

• Recruit Pascal, Highest Bidder Mascot | Pascal, Highest Bidder Mascot takes up a slot in the formation. Groklok the Orc and Drizzle the Dark Elf take up spots in formation and can't be moved. Monsters spawn in waves of 5 and live at least 3 seconds. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 600.


• Stormy Play | Karl the Kicker and Cindy the Cheer-Orc take up spots in formation and can't be moved. Special monsters spawn with random traits: invisible, projectile, super fast, & kills lead Crusader when reaches formation. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 650.


• Coaching Woes | Griz the Robo-Coach takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. The formation will only do DPS if Griz is affecting exactly 3 Robots with Contract Re-Negotiation. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 675.


• Rock Solid Defense | Nargulg Granitehand takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. No Animal Crusaders allowed. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Bullet Hell on Ready Player Two to complete. Reach area 700.


• Leprechauns Unite |Morrigan the Furious takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. Only Morrigan does DPS. For each other Leprechaun Crusader in the formation, Morrigan gets an extra 500% DPS, stacking multiplicatively. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Bullet Hell on Ready Player Two to complete. Reach area 725.

Carnage Cup V runs until Tuesday, February 4th at 12PM PST, introducing Morrigan, the Furious and bringing back Groklok the Orc, Drizzle the Dark Elf, Karl the Kicker, Cindy the Cheer-Orc, Griz the Robo-Coach, and Nargulg Granitehand!

New Tier 5 Crusader: Morrigan, the Furious

Morrigan, the Furious is a no holds barred / take no prisoners / revenge is a dish best served cold-kind of Leprechaun DPS Crusader. She grows more powerful with each other Leprechaun in the formation with I'll Make My Own Team, and her Magic Mayhem further boosts her damage with an adjacent Magic Crusader on top of that!

Whenever she is Picking Fights or told she's Too Short to Ride she increases her DPS, and her Leprechaun Rage increases her Self DPS further for every 10 monsters killed while Morrigan is in the formation. At the same time, Go Long improves Morrigan's DPS for every 25 levels over (and including) level 200 with a stacking DPS multiplier.

Finally, Morrigan is Magically Enhanced, giving her debuff resistance (negative Formation abilities don't target her) and helping her to push through even the most challenging objectives.

Furious, dangerous things can come in small packages. We hope you enjoy Morrigan, the Furious!

New Tier 5 Objectives

• Recruit Morrigan, the Furious | Morrigan, the Furious takes up a slot in the formation. Monsters spawn faster and deal 10x more damage. Ravens drop from the sky, and injure random Crusaders.
  Reach area 400 with difficulty compression.


• Carnage for the Cup | Only Leprechaun and Healer Crusaders can be used. Area requirements are quadrupled.
  Reach area 450.


• Halftime Commercial Break | Monster difficulty scales more quickly. TV set monsters spawn at random. Televisions disable the DPS and Upgrades of a random Crusader while alive, and for 5 seconds after dying.
  Reach area 475.


• The Dirty Downs | Dirt mounds occupy half the formation. Good Crusaders receive a DPS buff for each adjacent dirt mound.
  Reach area 500.


• Scrimmage | Monsters are immune to damage unless they're weakened by a projectile first.
  Reach area 525.

The carnage comes to a close on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 12:00PM PT, so make sure to unlock and gear up Nargulg and the rest of the squad before then!

New Tier 4 Crusader: Nargulg Granitehand

Nargulg Granitehand is a Half-Dwarf/Half-Orc Crusader, who managed to draw all the anger and fury from both races into a single muscular body of destruction. He increases Click Damage for every Dwarf Crusader and Orc Crusader in the formation, with Nargulg counting twice because he's both!

Crusaders Return

If you haven't collected them already, you can unlock previous Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Crusaders by completing their respective objectives. Groklok the Orc, Drizzle the Dark Elf, Karl the Kicker, Cindy the Cheer-Orc, and Griz the Robo-Coach are all once again available to unlock!

New Tier 4 Objectives

• Recruit Nargulg Granitehand | Nargulg Granitehand and Jim the Lumberjack start in the formation. Click Damage and Task Masters are disabled. Monsters randomly spawn that are able to instantly kill a Crusader upon reaching the formation. Reach area 600.


• Revenge of the Cheerleaders | A Cheerleader from Hell starts in the formation, disabling the Formation Abilities of adjacent Crusaders. Every 150 Areas another Cheerleader from Hell appears. Reach area 700.


• Crowds are Contagious | One rowdy fan takes up a slot in the formation, intent on infecting the other Crusaders. Five Virus Clouds move around the formation, disabling Crusader DPS and Formation Abilities. While moving the Virus Clouds have no effect. Reach area 750.


• Concession Time! | Various concession snacks attack the formation, each with their own annoying effects. These concession snacks survive for at least three seconds and spawn more quickly the more spawn speed you have. Reach area 800.


• Raging Dates of Death | Three escorts take up spaces in the formation. You need to keep the formation even in genders of Crusaders or else a Crusader dies every five seconds. Reach area 850.

New Tier 3 Crusader: Griz the Robo-Coach

Griz the Robo-Coach is an aging, grizzled, robotic coach, who motivates everyone in front of him based on how far from him they are. Griz is also very old and may be slightly falling apart...

Crusaders Return

If you haven't collected them already, you can unlock our Tier One Crusaders Drizzle the Dark Elf and Groklok the Orc by completing the respective Tier One objectives. Then, you can collect the Tier Two Crusaders, Cindy the Cheer-Orc and Karl the Kicker, by completing the first two Tier Two objectives!

Five New Tier 3 Objectives!

• Recruit Griz the Robo-Coach | Griz takes up a slot in the formation and reduces the DPS of all Crusaders. The amount of the reduction is based on their distance away from Griz. Reach area 500 with his special coaching to recruit him.


• The Professionals | Only the Bush Whacker, Nate Dragon, and Carnage Cup Crusaders (Groklok, Drizzle, Karl, Cindy, and Griz) can be used. Reach area 600.


• Offside Play | The middle column is taken up by various Defenders. All Crusaders in front of them have their Formation Abilities disabled, and all Crusaders behind them have their DPS disabled. Reach area 650.


• Hot Potato | Three footballs move between slots in the formation. Whoever is in a slot containing a football has their DPS and Formation abilities disabled. Reach area 700.


• Tailgate Party | A pickup truck takes up the front few slots. When it's destroyed your formation is pushed back. Reach area 750.

Love is in the air again and to celebrate the most romantic date in the calendar, we're relaunching the Merci's Mix-up event. This time with two new Tier 2 romantic leads and three new Tier 2 objectives.

It's time to get romantic. The Merci's Mix-up event runs from today through to February 21st at Noon PST. For those players who haven't unlocked them already, this is your chance to add both Rocky and Sally to your roster.

Of course, as this is a 2017 update of the original event you can also collect two new Crusaders: Warwick the Warlock and Katie the Cupid.

New Tier Two Crusader: Warwick the Warlock.

The first of the two new Tier 2 Crusaders is Warwick the Warlock. This mischievous leprechaun replaces The Bush Whacker as the main clicker. At level 100, his ability Soul Harvest spreads the click damage to all enemies in a small radius around your click.

At level 400, Warwick unlocks Curse of Weakness where enemies damaged by your clicks take 100% more damage from your DPS for 5 seconds.

New Tier Two Crusader: Katie the Cupid.

When it comes to the business of love, opposites do attract. Katie the Cupid is all sweetness and light compared to Warwick. At level 150, she unlocks Cupid's Arrow and shoots a random enemy with a love arrow every 5 seconds for 200% Global DPS. At level 400 her Snugglin' ability gives +15% Gold Find for each adjacent male crusader, up to a maximum of 2 (Max 2x30% w/ Epic)

After you've completed the first new Tier Two objectives for Warwick and Katie, there are three more objectives to keep you busy.

New Tier Two Objective: The Bachelorette.

In The Bachelorette a bachelorette takes up a spot in your formation. Every 25 levels, she sends one bench seat packing (in a fixed order), making it unavailable in subsequent levels all the way to area 400.

New Tier Two Objective: It's Raining Men.

In the objective, It's Raining Men only male crusaders are allowed. That's it. Do your best Weather Girls impression and fend off all your new admirers to reach area 450.

New Tier Two Objective: The Cost of Love.

The final new Tier Two objective is The Cost of Love. Now Crusaders cost much more than normal and enemies drop less gold until you beat area 500.

Equipment for both Tier 1 and 2 Crusaders can be found in Valentines Silver and Jeweled Chests. However, gear for the Tier 2 Crusaders will only appear once you've unlocked the respective Crusader.

You'll have until February 21st at Noon PST to complete the event. Let Love Rule!

Put on your cleats, Crusaders! It's time for the Carnage Cup: the most violent, the most painful, and by far the most exciting hand-egg ball competition in the whole universe! Recruit all four of the Carnage Cup Crusaders, including two brand new ones, as you throw, run, and kick your way to victory.

The tailgate party is underway and now the game begins starting today and running through to February 7th at Noon PST. For those players who haven't unlocked them already, this is your chance to add both Groklok and Drizzle to your roster.

Of course, as this is a 2017 update of the original event you can also collect two new Crusaders: Karl the Kicker and Cindy the Cheer-Orc.

New Tier Two Crusader: Karl the Kicker.

Karl the Kicker takes up the same slot as Natalie Dragon and has some cool abilities in his kit bag. At level 50 Split the Uprights divides your DPS evenly between the front-most and back-most enemies (if there's only one enemy, it will take full normal damage; if two, each takes 50% of total DPS).

At level 400, Karl unlocks Play Of The Game where the back-most enemy takes an additional 40% damage (multiplicative; so front-most takes 50% of total DPS, back-most takes 70% of total DPS)

New Tier Two Crusader: Cindy the Cheer-Orc.

Cindy the Cheer-Orc has some cool abilities hidden in her pom-poms. At level 50, she unlocks Top of the Pyramid which will buff other Crusaders' DPS up to 25% per slot based on how far away they are from Cindy. At level 400 her Practice Makes Perfect ability increases the effect of Top of the Pyramid based on the area you've reached by 10% (multiplicative) per 50 areas.

After you've completed the first new Tier Two objectives for Karl and Cindy, there are three more objectives to keep you busy.

New Tier Two Objective: Flag On The Play.

In Flag On The Play referees spawn as monsters, and when they die, they throw a flag on one of your Crusaders disabling their DPS and Formation Abilities for 30 seconds.

New Tier Two Objective: Stand By For This Important Word From Our Sponsor.

Stand By For This Important Word From Our Sponsor introduces TV sets interminably promoting various products you absolutely have to own. When a TV dies, you get a random positive or negative effect for a few seconds (e.g. reduced global DPS, reduced gold bonus, increased global DPS, or increased gold bonus).

New Tier Two Objective: Halftime Show.

The final new Tier Two objective is Halftime Show. A singer and several musical instruments take up space in your formation. The singer performs for 10 seconds every 10-20 seconds. Whenever the singer is singing, the deafening noise reduces your DPS by 99.99%. When she stops, your DPS returns at a rate of 5% per second.

Equipment for both Tier 1 and 2 Crusaders can be found in Carange Cup Silver and Jeweled Chests. However, gear for the Tier 2 Crusaders will only appear once you've unlocked the respective Crusader.

You'll have until February 7th at Noon PST to win the Championship and claim the Carnage Cup trophy. Go team!

It's that time of year for picking up the ol' pigskin, smashing into a group of men geared up in armour to spike the said pigskin into the end zone in celebration.

As the single biggest sports fan of the group, Jim the Lumberjack is beside himself with excitement for the major sports event in the Crusader calendar: The Carnage Cup.

Rounding up the fellow Crusaders he decides to throw a tailgate party ahead of the big game. Unfortunately for Jim, it all goes wrong very quickly and soon the Crusaders have to destroy swathes of monsters before he and team can enjoy the sporting festivities.


New Crusader! Groklok

Packing together in the new football formation, the Crusaders have a chance to add two new characters to their ranks. Groklok the Orc is a beast of a linebacker who's abilities include increasing the DPS of Crusaders in front of him by 150% among other abilities.

Drizzle the Dark Elf is the nimble, tricky running-back. Drizzle enjoys a unique partnership with Groklok. Just like the best players, they can combine in various ways to maximize their tactics.

Playing Drizzle in front of Groklok will buff his formation ability by 100%. If Drizzle and Groklok play alongside each other, the combined skills buff Groklok's DPS by 400%. When Groklok is blocking and tackling in any column in front of Drizzle, Groklok's line gets a health buff and takes less damage.


New Crusader! Drizzle

Both new Crusaders require some training to play with their new team. The Crusaders will need to complete the first two objectives for the new campaign to add both players to their rosters.

In the first objective, Groklok's ponderous pre-training skills will debuff the DPS of all the Crusaders behind him as he fails to block the attacks of the incoming monsters. In the second objective, Drizzle's lack of teamwork will disable the formation abilities of all adjacent Crusaders.

This event we're honouring two more YouTube celebrities who have been producing awesome Crusaders videos. Again, just like MrBayEasy, you'll find them as boss monsters within the game. Keep an eye out for them as you play.
