Our Champions are having A Time. A night of things repeatedly going wrong. The Chardalyn Dragon has been loosed. Will they manage to defeat the dragon in time to save Ten-Towns?

Note: you will need to have completed the previous two Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden Adventures, Dwarven Rumors and Sunblight, in order to access these new Adventures.




The Radiant Nightmare

Nighttime Adventure - The Chardalyn Dragon has been loosed on Ten-Towns! Will our Champions find a way to defeat the dragon in Caer-Konig and save the region?
  • Variant: Quick Thinking — Chase down Xardorok's Chardalyn Dragon with your cleverest Champions! Only Champions with INT 12 or higher and WIS 14 or higher can be used.
  • Reach area 350.

Waiting on Sunrise

The nighttime nightmare continues. After travelling quickly, we arrive in Termalaine just as the first attack begins...
  • Variant: Frontline Fighters — Race to save Termalaine with your heartiest Champions! Only Champions with STR 15 or higher and CON 16 or higher can be used.
  • Reach area 375.

BW2: Celebrate Nate's Birthday Event!

Happy Birthday Nate!

It’s that time of year again! Help celebrate Nate Dragon’s birthday by decorating the Commons for him....because no one else will.

First and foremost, whenever Nate is involved, safety becomes a priority. Find Safety Coins in the bushes and bring them to the stations in the Commons to stock up on protective gear. Turn in 10 coins at each station 50 times for an achievement. You can see the number of turn-ins you've completed at a station when you turn in a set of coins. The Kevlar Pad station is there on the first day of the event, and the Fire Extinguisher and Band Aid stations will unlock as the event goes on.

Then it seems Nate needs decorations and activities to set up in the Commons. Go out daily and find things for his party. Have fun trying out the activity stations as many times as you want!

If you're trying to get Tiny Little Arms or Just Like Nate achievements, or if you just want to have a little fun, you need to be wearing all pieces of the Dragon gear or the Nate outfit (available from the vendor's Bush Bucks store if it's your first time playing this event) while completing the 4 party Stations: Dynamite Activity, Campfire Activity, Digging Activity and the Training Whacking Activity.

If you've built the Town Hall, you can expect an fiery visitor to the party as well!

New for 2021:

New year, new gift from Nate's uncle! He seems apologetic enough, so maybe this one won't be cursed...

And introducing the 100% reward for this year: Mannequin Bases! Collect each one and expand your ranch fashion displays! Here's a base to suit Nate's explosive style:

Variants for everybody! You get a variant, you get a variant, and you get a variant!

Our latest Idle Champions update introduces ten new variants for the Grand Tour of the Sword Coast, Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, Tomb of Annihilation, Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus, and Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden campaigns. You will need to have completed the original adventures in order to unlock these variants.

Grand Tour of the Sword Coast Variants

  • The Sunless Citadel: Social Grace
  • Split the party with your most charming members!
    • Only Evergreen Champions can be used on this adventure.
    • Only Champions with CHA of 14 or higher can be used.
    • Reach area 350.

  • Meepo's Quest: The Tallest of Kobolds
  • Split the party with a tall 'human' coming along for the ride.
    • 3 Kobolds in a trench coat join the party.
    • Only Event Champions can be used on this adventure.
    • Enemies deal 200% additional damage.
    • Kobold and Goblin Champions deal 400% additional damage.
    • Reach area 350.

Tomb of Annihilation Variants

  • A Grand Puzzle: Snakes on our Plane
  • Find the remaining puzzle cubes while trying not to hiss too much.
    • Additional Yuan-ti Malisons spawn in each area and move 200% faster.
    • Whenever a champion is damaged by a Yuan-ti, they are transformed into a flying snake for 30 seconds, disabling their attacks and formation abilities for the duration. Every time they are hit, the timer resets.
    • Additional Yuan-ti Malisons spawn in each area and move 200% faster.
    • Reach area 350.

  • The Tomb of the Nine Gods: Acererak's Puzzle
  • Destroy the Soulmonger and save the world using a select few Champions!
    • Only Champions with STR of 13 or higher, DEX of 14 or higher, and CON of 15 or higher can be used.
    • Reach area 350.

Waterdeep: Dragon Heist Variants

  • Once More Into the Breach: Thrice More Into The Breach
  • Head into Undermountain while grappling with even more bosses!
    • Each boss needs to be defeated three times to advance.
    • Only Champions with WIS of 10 or lower can be used.
    • Reach area 325.

  • Wyllowwood: Ettercap Swarm
  • Convince the lady of Wyllowwood to guide you while a swarm of ettercaps attack!
    • Ettercaps arrive in each area intent on slowing your progress through Wyllowwood. They drop no gold, nor do they count towards quest progress.
    • An ettercap attacks at range with its webbing, targeting a random champion in the formation. Champions hit by an ettercap are stunned. Each time the same Champion is stunned in the same area, the stun lasts longer.
    • Reach area 325.


Dungeons & Dragons Idle Champions Baldur's Gate Descent into Avernus

Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus

  • Elturel Has Fallen: Earthquake!
  • Discover the secrets of Elturel, before you are killed by earthquakes tearing the city apart!
    • Only Champions with DEX 14 or higher can be used.
    • An earthquake occurs every 20-120 seconds. Earthquakes cause falling pieces of the city hit the Champions, dealing damage equal to 75% of their max health (subject to a DEX save).
    • The earthquake also triggers the following effects for 15 seconds:
      • All Champion damage is disabled.
      • Enemies move 200% faster.
      • Enemies deal 400% additional damage.
    • DEX Save: For each point their Dexterity score is above 10, a Champion has a 10% chance to save against the damage/effect, completely nullifying it. For example, a Champion with 14 DEX has a 40% chance to save against the damage, while a Champion with 20 DEX or higher has a 100% chance to save against the effect.
    • Reach area 300.

  • Resolve Amongst Chaos: Shadow Stalkers
  • Search for Ulder Ravengard while Lemures attack the party!
    • Only Champions with CHA of 12 or lower can be used.
    • Lemures appear in each area. They do not drop gold, nor do they count toward quest progress.
    • Enemies deal 300% additional damage.
    • Reach area 325.

Dungeons & Dragons Idle Champions Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden

Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden

  • The Giant's Bane Tavern: Giant-Size Adventure
  • Enter Icewind Dale with Volo on your side!
    • The great writer Volothamp Geddarm accompanies the Champions, taking up a slot in the formation and debuffing the damage of everyone adjacent.
    • Non-giant creatures are scaled up, creating the sort of harrowing tale that Volo is famous for.
    • Enemies move 100% faster and deal 200% more damage.
    • Reach area 250.

  • The Everlasting Rime: Mirage Arcane
  • Continue to Ten-Towns while Chadwick offers to help with the environmental control.
    • In an effort to help the Champions weather the cold, Chadwick joins them and attempts to practice with some new spell scrolls.
    • The terrain around the Champions changes, and not always to the Champions' advantage. Each 5 section area is changed to a different environment:
      • While in a dungeon illusion, Champions base attack cooldown is increased by .5 seconds.
      • While in a Chult illusion, Champions deal 200% additional damage.
      • While in a Ravenloft illusion, Enemies deal 200% additional damage.
      • While in an Avernus illusion, Enemies drop 99% less gold.
      • While in a farm illusion, additional enemies appear, these additional enemies do not drop gold, nor do they count towards quest progress.
    • Reach area 275.

Idle Champions: Icewind Dale, Part 3

The Champions head to Caer Konig to investigate rumors of invisible dwarves pilfering the town. Along the way, they discover at terrifying new threat to Ten-Towns!

Note: you will need to have completed the previous two Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden Adventures, Moose Tracks and Civilization, in order to access these new Adventures.




Dwarven Rumors

We are headed to Caer Konig, to investigate a rumor about invisible dwarves pilfering the town, help the proprietors of the Northern Light Inn, the Shorard Sisters, look for their missing lantern, and get lost in the Rime (again)...
  • Variant: Mimic Perception — Explore a rumor about invisible dwarves in Caer-Konig while a mimic accompanies the party! Only Champions with WIS 13 or higher can be used. One of the Mimic Tavern Items (a Potted Plant) accompanies the party, intent on helping you find the lantern. In each area, the mimic plant gets distracted by something that is either blue, green, or red, thinking it is the lantern. It accidentally grants a buff to the enemies based on which color it's excited about.
    • Blue - Enemies deal 300% additional damage.
    • Green - Enemies' speed is increased by 100%.
    • Red - Gold Find is reduced by 99%.
  • Reach area 300.

Sunblight

Fortune favors the bold, right? The Champions use the teleportation circle and appear in Sunblight Fortress. We encounter a new terrifying threat to Ten-Towns.
  • Variant: Fortress Assault — Learn what you can about the duergar fortress with the strongest among you.
  • Only Champions with STR score of 15 or higher can be used.
  • Reach area 325.

    Daily Rewards

    Every day during the Years' End Festival you can log in and open a new Years' End chest, but each chest is only available for 24 hours! Each chest contains four awesome items, hand-picked by the team here at Codename Entertainment to help you in your adventures.

    New Familiars

    BW2: Generation 13 Pets are Here!

    Gotta find 'em all!

    A new selection of critters are now available to be your companions!

    Those weirdly random abandoned eggs scattered all over Bushwhackia have been switched up and all new pets are ready to hatch when you accept the "Find an Egg" quest from Misty. She will also have all the Generation 12 eggs available to purchase for Bush Bucks during the "Find an Egg" quest.


    Other changes to Misty and Hank for Generation 13:

    • Misty will no longer let players abandon Gen 12 pet eggs that they are hatching (they're now too rare). Only current generation pet eggs can be abandoned during hatching. Please note that if you're in the middle of hatching a pet, then that egg will still hatch into whatever pet it would have been before.

    • Generation 12 pet eggs can now be found in Quester's Satchels (with the same limitations as the Generation 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 eggs, which will still be available in satchels as well.)

    • Hank now sells a random assortment of hatched level 1 Generation 13 pets (instead of Generation 12) for Bush Bucks in his pet store.

    PAGAS changes for Generation 13:

    • Generation 13 pet eggs are available to buy with DNA in the PAGAS store, once you have hatched at least five Generation 13 pets. This include 9 unique variations of the new pets.

    • The Pet Progress dialog now includes Generation 13 pets. Another 19 new pets that all players can unlock!

    • There are new PAGAS Pet Progress reward tiers for 700 and 750 unique pets for those avid collectors! A new unique pet named Cort, and 10 more Unique DNA, respectively.

    • You can now also trade down your rarer DNAs by talking to Vincent as choose the ‘I'd like to trade my DNA’ then ‘I'd like to trade DOWN my DNA’ chat options.

    Store Improvement:


    In addition to these new pets, all stores have been improved to show how many of a pet or mount you've owned or the amount of the inventory or ranch item you have when you mouse over the store item image!

    Idle Champions: Icewind Dale, Part 2

    The Champions are relieved to finally reach Ten-Towns after becoming lost in the snow -- but not everything is as it seems in the Rime. We find ourselves in Lonelywood, one of the northernmost settlements of Icewind Dale, giving us pause as to just how lost we truly were...

    Note: you will need to have completed the previous two Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden Adventures, The Giant's Bane Tavern and The Everlasting Rime, in order to access these new Adventures.




    Moose Tracks

    We are well and truly lost in the Rime, and find ourselves in Lonelywood. Relieved to have found some semblance of civilization, the Champions are immediately beseeched by the speaker of Lonelywood to help with a moose problem...
    • Variant: An Awakened Axe — Enter Ten-Towns and help chase down some local wildlife while being chased by an Awakened Axe Beak! A Frost Druid has awakened an axe beak to carve through us. The awakened axe beak arrives in each area with 5 armored hit points, and deals damage equal to 50% of your Champions' max health.
    • Reach area 250.

    Civilization

    We helped Lonelywood, now we find our way into Termalaine. Hearing of some issues with the gem mine, the Champions head out to explore it, and find some kobolds working the mine.
    • Variant: Trench Coat Run — Head to - wait - is that... three kobolds in a Trench Coat? Kobolds in a trenchcoat attack in each area. Once initially defeated, the kobolds spill out of the trenchcoat, creating three new enemies!
      • As a kobold in a trenchcoat, they move 100% faster.
      • After the kobolds fall out of the trenchcoat, they each deal 300% additional damage.
      • Only Champions with DEX score of 14 or higher can be used.
    • Reach area 275.

    COTLI: Emo's New Moon 6 

      It's close to midnight, and something Emo's lurking in the dark...
      Under full moonlight, you see a sight that almost stops your heart!

    Wait — this thriller-night has happened five times before! And it's back again tonight! Emo's New Moon has returned, bring ghosts and ghouls to the neighborhood schools where Crusaders fight for their lives from now until November 10th at noon Pacific!

    Emo's New Moon 6 introduces Crooked Crow the latest Tier 6 Crusader and brings back The Evanescent, Trixie the Treater, Viktor the Vampire, Henry, the Scaredy-Ghoul, Fright-o-Tron 4000, Wendy the Witch, and Jack O'Lantern!

    New Tier 6 Crusader: Crooked Crow

    That’s not their real name, but no one knows what is, so this is the nickname they’ve acquired among the Crusaders. They seem to have different names in different regions!

    Once you've recruited Crooked Crow you'll find them a friend to bugs, selling beneficial potions and charms alongside cursed objects and scavenged bodyparts. You'll find Crooked Crow in seat 30.

    New Tier 6 Objectives

    • Recruit Crooked Crow |Crooked Crow takes up a slot in the formation. Monsters are faster and live longer. Wendy and Jack take up spots in formation and can't be moved. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 600.

    • Frightening Ghouls | Henry and Fright take up spots in formation and can't be moved. Only Undead Crusaders can join them. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 650.

    • Bite Night | Viktor takes up a spot in the formation and can't be moved. Only Crusaders bitten by Viktor contribute DPS. Otherwise: Every 50 areas, all Crusaders have their DPS reduced by 75%, stacking multiplicatively, except Viktor. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 675.

    • Candy-mania | Trixie takes up a spot in the formation and can't be moved. Normal enemies drop less gold and Crusaders cost more to upgrade. Trick-or-treat monsters spawn randomly, and drop extra gold when killed. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Bullet Hell on Ready Player Two to complete. Reach area 700.

    • Soulful Escort | The Evanescent takes up a spot in the formation and can't be moved. Only Crusaders with 1000 base EP or higher can be used. After the first area, mosters are immune to damage until they are hit by a projectile. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Bullet Hell on Ready Player Two to complete. Reach area 725.

    Equipment for event Crusaders can be found in Silver and Jeweled Halloween Chests, which you can earn from objectives and the free play or buy in the shop. Each non-recruitment objective will drop a chest for its given tier of Crusaders, and free play will drop All Tier chests. Gear for Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4, Tier 5, and Tier 6 Crusaders will only appear in All Tier chests once you've unlocked the respective Crusaders. You can select the tier of chest you buy in the shop when you go to purchase chests with real money or event currency.

    Idle Champions: Icewind Dale Campaign

    While traveling to Ten-Towns, the Champions discover what we have only heard in rumors prior: there is a massive storm in Icewind Dale...

    Our latest update for Idle Champions launches our new Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign, and the first tier of Blessings for our new campaign and its deity: Auril.

    New Campaign

    Our newest campaign is also our most challenging!

    To unlock the Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign, you must have 50 different adventures and variants completed. Additionally, the target areas are higher than normal, reflecting the difficulty of making through Auril's rime. The target for our first adventure The Giant's Bane Tavern is area 150. From there, each new adventure's target goes up by 25 areas from the previous adventure, and the variants are each 50 areas higher than the base adventure, or the variant before it.

    New Blessings

    When the Champions begin their journey to Ten-Towns, they won't be doing it alone – they will be blessed by earning Auril's favor. Previously players earned Auril's favor during the Midwinter event. From Midwinter 4 onwards, players will earn Eldath's favor during that event, and Auril's favor for the Icewind Dale campaign.

    Tier 1 Blessings for the Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign will go live with today's update. Our Champions will need to curry favor with The Frostmaiden to survive the wrath of her winters...




    The Giant's Bane Tavern

    On our journey to Ten-Towns, we find refuge from the blizzard in a cozy tavern. We meet some familiar adventurers there and uncover some disturbing revelations about the storm.
    • Variant: Rime Bandits — Arctic Bandits appear in each area. They do not count towards quest progress, nor do they drop gold. Enemies drop 99% less gold. When an Arcic Bandit enemy damages a Champion, that Champion is stunned for 2 seconds, additional hits reset the timer, but hits do not stack.
    • Reach area 200.

    The Everlasting Rime

    Have you ever gotten lost? Ok, but have you ever gotten lost in a magical blizzard created by a vengeful god?
    • Variant: Enemy Summit — The rime has brought the Champions' memories to life! A unique enemy from each of the 4 previous campaigns spawns in each area. Each enemy has a unique enemy buff that is active until they are killed.
      • Strahd Zombie- Enemies drop 99% less gold
      • Batiri Goblin - Enemies have their attack cooldown reduced by 25%
      • Gazer - Enemies deal 100% additional damage
      • Abyssal Chicken - Enemies move 100% faster
    • Reach area 225.




    Modron Automation & Bug Cleanup Update!

    Our developers have been hard at work under the hood of both Modron Automation and the game itself in recent months, clearing out a bunch of bugs affecting our players. We hope our efforts have resulted in a smoother play experience for many of you. We're continuing to knock down more bugs each day, and we'd like to send a big thanks to all of the players who have been using our new bug tracker through the support system! We're making our way towards feature complete on Modron Automation, and our next step is to bring our Switch players in on the fun!

    Today Modron Automation is launching on the Nintendo Switch platform. With that we're also releasing a Founder's Pack for the Modron Automation system on all platforms! It includes:
    • 50 Modron Component Chests
    • An exclusive Monodrone Familiar
    • 500 Modron Component Pieces
    • A week-long boost of 50% to all Modron Core Outputs

    Switch players can access Modron Automation from the campaign map. Those looking for the Modron Founder's Pack can find it in the in-game shop.

    BW2: Explorer's League Quest Part 6 

    Hi Whackers!

    Are you one of the dauntless Bush Whackers who has sniffed out all 20 Strange Tablets by taming the mysterious Pelorus Gryphi creatures in Part 5, and have completed up to The Cumulus Fields?

    Then Josephine, the leader of the Explorer's League, would like to talk to you again. Talk to the Town Crier in the Commons, then seek her out on the fourth story of the Skyscraper to get started.

    This new series of daily quests will challenge skills you learned long ago, and take you all over the lands of Bushwhackia in the process.

    Note: Time Turner and Timey Wimey Watch trinkets will not work on the dailies this epic quest line.
