The hunt for Vecna continues.

Our Champions face off against the forces of Lolth on the Outer Plane of Pandemonium. But this Ruinous Citadel is far more than it seems, and a legendary primordial obyrith is about to break free...

Part 9 of the Vecna: Eve of Ruin campaign introduces Tier 5 Blessings and sees the Champions battle across Pandesmos, the topmost layer of Pandemonium, all the way to the forbidden Ruinous Citadel.

Note: You will need to have completed the previous two Vecna: Eve of Ruin adventures, The Rod of Seven Parts and Pandemonium, in order to access these new adventures.


Campaign: Vecna: Eve of Ruin

The War of Pandesmos

Square off with Lolth's forces in Pandesmos.
  • Complete area 1200

Variant: The Relentless War of Pandesmos

Square off with Lolth's relentless forces in Pandesmos with a drow companion.
  • You may only use Champions that are a Standard species. Standard species are Aasimar, Dragonborn, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Goliath, Halfling, Human, Orc, Tiefling, Half-Orc, and Half-Elf.
  • A Drow Priestess joins the formation.
  • Each wave, 1-2 Giant Spiders attack. When defeated, they respawn in the same location after 5 seconds unless defeated by a Champion next to the Drow Priestess.
  • Complete Area 1250

The Ruinous Citadel

Enter the Ruinous Citadel to confront Vecna and an ancient evil.
  • Complete area 1250

Variant: The Ruinous Bosses

Enter the Ruinous Citadel to confront Vecna and an ancient evil with some diverse Champions.
  • You may only use Champions that are not a Standard species. Standard species are Aasimar, Dragonborn, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Goliath, Halfling, Human, Orc, Tiefling, Half-Orc, and Half-Elf.
  • Aarakocra Champions break 3 times the amount of armored or segmented health when they deal damage.
  • Bosses cannot be moved, rooted, or stunned, except in extraordinary circumstances, and they immediately start to enrage upon spawning.
  • All boss monsters have at least 25 armored health.
  • Complete Area 1300

Vecna: Eve of Ruin Tier 5 Blessings

Today's update also includes Tier 5 Blessings for The Wizards' Three! Check out the new blessings below!
  • Standard Procedure - Local: Increase the damage of all Champions who are of Standard Species by 100%
  • Secret of Survival - Local: Increase the base health and healing received of all Champions by 20%
  • Catch a Patron's Eye - Local: Increase the damage of all Champions by 100% when you're on a patron variant in the Vecna campaign
  • Legendary Libations - Global: Increase the damage of all Champions by 100% for each active Legendary potion on the current party, stacking multiplicatively.
