Summer Carnival Event 2025

The Carnival has returned to town! Get ready to play some games, help some Bushwhackian residents and win carnival tokens which you can exchange for cool prizes at the Carnival Event Vendor!

The Carnival Games

A staple of any summer carnival or fair, are those devilish carnival games. There are four different games which will unlock over the course of the event and they include "Balloon Popper," "Whack-A-Mole," "Baseball Throw," and "Duck Shoot." Don't worry, there's no skill involved with these games, you play them automatically when you interact with them.

- It costs 4 carnival tickets to play each game, and you can whack those tickets out of the bushes, or purchase them from Timmy in the Event area for Bush Bucks (30 Salvaged Tickets for 30 Bush Bucks)

- You receive Carnival Tokens based on how well you do. Now, we're not saying they're rigged in the Carnival's favour or anything, but you'll definitely want to ask your friends to help you rig these games to help you!

To get started, the Balloon Popper game is unlocked! As well, it seems William needs your help to satisfy his sweet-tooth!

A Teleporter to Somewhere...

The Pandaclaw was wandering around here somewhere....build the teleporter and complete all the quests and get your very own!

The Dunk Tank

The dunk tank returns! Can you dunk all 8 helpless Bushwhackian residents? NPCs you haven't dunked yet will have a yellow exclamation mark above their heads, to let you know you still need to send them plunging into the icy waters of the tank! It'll help them all cool off. Plus, the tank is always in need of cleaning, so try to keep up with Katherine's daily Dunk Tank Cleaning quests!

Peat Bog, Pete the Carney's brother has some tasks for you to help him put on a show!

Testing Your Power

And how are your Power collection skills? Are you strong enough to win all the bonus prizes? There are 7 strength settings to beat, unlocking as the event goes on as Strong-Whacker Sabine continuously tries to increase the difficulty of her Strong-Whacker Strength Machine Game.

A Fortune Told

Baba Pythia's seen the future, and it's of you helping her set up a fortune telling booth at the event!

Big Top Blow Out!

A menagerie of circus critters have escaped the big top, and the shady guy wants to know what they were hiding in there! Help him get the details in this challenging new quest.

VIP Rewards!

Active VIP members can claim unique rewards based on their event progress! If you don't have an active membership, you have the entire event to consider becoming one! You can earn and claim these rewards until the end of the event.

Once you complete the teleporter quest line and capture a Pandaclaw, Taban the Teleporter Engineer will offer to transmogrify your Pandaclaw companions, changing their appearance, with science! There are now EIGHT Pandaclaw skins to choose from, each yielding a type of pet DNA.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will the last quest unlock?
All quests will be unlocked by the 10th day of the event.

Where can I buy Last Year's items?
There are two vendors. The one in the tent has this year's items. The other is the one with the party hat and will have all previous year items for Bush Bucks.

What contributes to my 100% progress?
You need 200 plays of any combo of the games to get 100%. Just whack up tickets to play the games, and turn in quests to get tickets as well.

Why do I want to ask friends for help?
It helps you rig the game and improve your chances of getting 8 tokens.

Do I have to do the achievements?
No. Completing the goals for the achievements is totally optional. You get either a large energy pack or a title for your character from them, no event progress.

Where can I see all the achievements available and how to get them?
Either on the holiday dialog, the achievements dialog, or on the blog.

Where can I see progress on the Dunking Achievement?
Click on the inventory icon and then click on the Achievements list (gold star). Look for the ones listed above in that list.

- Added a new Nate adventure in the Flooded Mines! Requires that you have completed the Nate's Prismatic Pursuit and field 3 of the Submerged Grotto to start.

- Fixed the Soil Pile Mini Golf Piece showing in the General tab in your inventory

- Fixed puzzle images for field 4 of the Welling Adit

- Added the Tapped Maple Tree to the ranch store after you've unlocked it

Curious, affable, and morbid, the drow heretic K'thriss Drow'b seeks the insane god-truth behind the veil of reality. As the "C" Team's hoardsperson, he keeps an eye out for occult relics that could aid him in his unearthly quest.

K'thriss Drow'b has been updated to modernize his design and provide more opportunities to synergize with other Champions from Acq Inc, The "C" Team, and the Wafflecrew.

Basic Attack

Dissonant Whispers (magic) - K'thriss telepathically whispers a discordant melody that damages and slows a random enemy.

Formation Abilities

Unseen Encouragement - K'thriss' unseen servant, Velvet, increases the damage of Champions not adjacent to K'thriss by 100% for each affected Champion, stacking multiplicatively.
Hoardsperson - K'thriss' keen eyes spy gold from enemy kills that the party misses. He gathers this gold to empower his own abilities (1 coin per enemy killed, 3 coins per boss enemy killed), and increases the effect of Unseen Encouragement and your party's gold find by 1% for each coin he has collected on the current adventure, stacking additively.
Shadow Demon - Unlocks K'thriss' ultimate ability. When K'thriss uses his ultimate ability he summons a Shadow Demon that hovers behind him for 30 seconds. For its duration, the Shadow Demon has various effects based on how many coins K'thriss has gathered since the last time the Shadow Demon was summoned:

Base effect: Unseen Encouragement +100%
10+ coins: Base effect +400%
50+ coins: All enemies slowed by 50%
100+ coins: All Champions deal additional 3s of BUD damage
250+ coins: Base effect & BUD damage +200%
1000+ coins: Base effect & BUD damage +400%

Efficient Bookkeeping - K'thriss uses his creative accounting skills to skim a little bit off the gold you spend to level up Champions and uses it to empower his abilities. For each order of magnitude of gold spent leveling up other Champions, he increases the effect of Unseen Encouragement by 15%, stacking multiplicatively.

Specializations

Velvet Touch - The effect of Unseen Encouragement is increased by 400% for each slot away from K'thriss an affected Champion is, stacking multiplicatively.
Ligotti's Minions - The effect of Unseen Encouragement and the gold find bonus of Hoardsperson are increased by 100% for each C-Team, Acquisitions Incorporated, or Wafflecrew Champion in the formation, stacking multiplicatively.
The Unknowable Ur - The effect of Unseen Encouragement is increased by 100,000%. This amount is reduced by 50% for each enemy defeated in the current area, applying multiplicatively for up to 10 enemies.

Celebrations are underway to commemorate the founding of the Free City of Waterdeep. Founders Day attracts huge crowds to the Field of Triumph, where audiences watch illusory shows about Waterdeep's history and martial exhibitions by notable Champions and the renown city guard.

Festivities have also brought an ancient power from Avernus, first layer of the Nine Hells. A fallen angel has arrived to collect souls for the Blood War...

BW2: Creature Collector - Fawn Pets!

Coppers of the Creature Collector

The eccentric Creature Collector has returned to the Commons, this time with a trio of fawn pets!

Head to the event area and choose one to train. You have until noon on Wednesday July 2nd to complete the collector's four daily quests, level up your chosen creature, earn Creature Coppers to spend in their store, and get another page to your Creature Collector's Compendium!

The Compendium Page will be given after the event ends. If you don't have the Creature Collector's Compendium ranch item, you'll get it when you get your first page.

After the event, the collector will be taking their creature back unless you adopt it by purchasing its corresponding mount pack, available during this mini-event only!

Train hard, Bush Whackers!

The training quests unlock at noon on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Those busy on the weekends can still catch up!

Notes
- The VIP "Quest Reset" power does not reset these mini event quests, and they are not affected by the Time Turner and Timey Whimey Watch.
- These three pets earn double the experience compared to other pets for the duration of this mini-event!

Ye Olde Creature Collector's Galleria - Pets

When you speak to Tanela Tiva in the event area, you can select the "What past pets are for sale?" chat option.

This will open a new store, which will contain 3 non-event premium pets you have never owned! They cost Bush Bucks, like in event stores. The selection will change next time Tanela Tiva visits to event area.

We've done this in response to players asking to see old premium pets they've missed out on, to help you fill out your pet collection. Snag those old-school pets you're missing out on!

A Plan For Everything - Tess increases the effect of Lead The Way by 400% for each different role in the formation, stacking multiplicatively.
Trap Expert - There's a 5% chance when an enemy dies that they drop a Trap that Tess immediately spots. During Tess's next attack, rather than attacking, she leaps out and disarms the Trap before it can harm any of her friends. For each Trap disarmed in this way, Lead The Way is increased by 25%, stacking additively. Stacks persist through resets.

The Fallback Plan - Tess increases the effect of Lead The Way by 150% for each unaffiliated Champion or Fallbacks Champion in the formation, stacking multiplicatively.
Eyes on the Horizon - Tess increases the effect of Lead The Way by 200% for each Champion in the formation with a ranged attack, stacking multiplicatively.

Our next event arrives on Wednesday, July 2, with one New Champion, one Champion Update, and these changes to Augments:

Founders' Day 8 Event Augments

Augment 1: Free Rerolls (Returning Augment)
Description: You gain five free rerolls to use on each set of your Weekly Offers during this event!

Augment 2: Worth Waiting For (New Augment)
Description: Completing tier 2+ variants for the reworked Champion and Champions in the flex slots unlocked with Time Gate Pieces or Boon Levels awards double Chests.

Augment 3: Auto Blacksmith (Returning Augment)
Description: Event Champions whose recruitment adventure or variants you complete gain common rarity equipment in all slots if they don't already have better. Every tier two or higher event variant completed automatically applies 100 Tiny Blacksmithing Contracts to the variant's Champion's equipment for free!

Augment 4: Boon Enhancements (New Augment)
Description: An additional boon buff at each level increases global damage based on the number of unique roles fulfilled by Champions in the formation, stacking additively.

The hunt for Vecna continues.

Our Champions face off against the forces of Lolth on the Outer Plane of Pandemonium. But this Ruinous Citadel is far more than it seems, and a legendary primordial obyrith is about to break free...

Part 9 of the Vecna: Eve of Ruin campaign introduces Tier 5 Blessings and sees the Champions battle across Pandesmos, the topmost layer of Pandemonium, all the way to the forbidden Ruinous Citadel.

Note: You will need to have completed the previous two Vecna: Eve of Ruin adventures, The Rod of Seven Parts and Pandemonium, in order to access these new adventures.

The War of Pandesmos

Square off with Lolth's forces in Pandesmos.

Complete area 1200

Variant: The Relentless War of Pandesmos

Square off with Lolth's relentless forces in Pandesmos with a drow companion.

You may only use Champions that are a Standard species. Standard species are Aasimar, Dragonborn, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Goliath, Halfling, Human, Orc, Tiefling, Half-Orc, and Half-Elf.
A Drow Priestess joins the formation.
Each wave, 1-2 Giant Spiders attack. When defeated, they respawn in the same location after 5 seconds unless defeated by a Champion next to the Drow Priestess.

The Ruinous Citadel

Enter the Ruinous Citadel to confront Vecna and an ancient evil.

Variant: The Ruinous Bosses

Enter the Ruinous Citadel to confront Vecna and an ancient evil with some diverse Champions.

You may only use Champions that are not a Standard species. Standard species are Aasimar, Dragonborn, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Goliath, Halfling, Human, Orc, Tiefling, Half-Orc, and Half-Elf.
Aarakocra Champions break 3 times the amount of armored or segmented health when they deal damage.
Bosses cannot be moved, rooted, or stunned, except in extraordinary circumstances, and they immediately start to enrage upon spawning.
All boss monsters have at least 25 armored health.

Vecna: Eve of Ruin Tier 5 Blessings

Today's update also includes Tier 5 Blessings for The Wizards' Three! Check out the new blessings below!

Standard Procedure - Local: Increase the damage of all Champions who are of Standard Species by 100%
Secret of Survival - Local: Increase the base health and healing received of all Champions by 20%
Catch a Patron's Eye - Local: Increase the damage of all Champions by 100% when you're on a patron variant in the Vecna campaign
Legendary Libations - Global: Increase the damage of all Champions by 100% for each active Legendary potion on the current party, stacking multiplicatively.
