Mischief at Mugwarts Tier 5 Objective Updates

Invisibility Cloak

• All changes from Tier 4 remain in effect.
  • New for Tier 5:
  • Bog Mother randomly spawns, living for at least 1.5 seconds. Can only be killed by projectile damage.
  • Areas get harder much more quickly.
  • Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete.
• Beat area 550.
• Awards 650 rubies.

Broom Game

• All changes from Tier 4 remain in effect.
  • New for Tier 5:
  • Bog Mother randomly spawns, living for at least 1.5 seconds. Can only be killed by projectile damage.
  • Areas get harder much more quickly.
  • Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete.
• Beat area 550.
• Awards 650 rubies.

No Muggles Allowed

The Final Battle

• All changes from Tier 4 remain in effect.

  • Bog Mother randomly spawns, living for at least 1.5 seconds. Can only be killed by projectile damage.
  • If the front line of the formation has 3 Crusaders with Tank tags in it, then you gain an increase to the DPS of all Crusaders.
  • Areas get harder much more quickly.
  • Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete.
• Beat area 550.
• Awards 650 rubies.

Fantastic Beasts

• Most changes from Tier 4 remain in effect.
  • New for Tier 5:
  • Bog Mother randomly spawns, living for at least 1.5 seconds. Can only be killed by projectile damage.
  • The familiars now move around the formation every 75 areas.
  • Areas get harder much more quickly.
  • Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete.
• Beat area 550.
• Awards 650 rubies.

You'll notice that every objective mentions that Bog Mother, a new monster, spawns. There's also a new achievement being added today to kill Bog Mother titled Bog Mother's Return that you can achieve from facing her on these new objectives or future higher tier versions. Completing it awards a 75% DPS bonus to your achievement DPS bonus.

Invisibility Cloak

• The teachers disable adjacent crusaders' DPS.

Broom Game

• The broom game components move around in the formation every 100 areas.

• When the evil wizard is killed, he splits into 2 more evil wizards! Scary!
• Reach area 950

Accio Monsters

• All monsters now shoot magical ranged blasts at the formation.
• Reach area 950

Teacher's Pet

• Polymorphed Crusaders disable the DPS and formation abilities of adjacent Crusaders.
• Reach area 1000

The Final Battle

• Giant snake monsters spawn randomly and take a very long time to kill.
• Reach area 1000

Fantastic Beasts

• The magical beasts are now more dastardly.
• Reach area 1000

The mischief continues! We've added new Tier 2 and Tier 3 objectives for the Mischief at Mugwarts campaign. Battle through beefed-up versions of Invisibility Cloak, Accio Monsters, The Final Battle, and Fantastic Beasts, with the help of a powerful weekend buff.

Here's a glimpse at some of the Tier 2 additions:

Invisibility Cloak Tier 2

Beat area 550 with the invisible monsters attacking you, and two teachers taking up formation slots!

Accio Monsters Tier 2

Beat 650 areas of rushing monsters eager to attack you while their buffed health keeps them alive longer.

Fantastic Beasts Tier 2

Survive the Fantastic Beasts while escorting the Wizard to area 750, this time with the addition of two familiars along for the hunt in your formation.
To help you through the tough new Tier 2 objectives, there's a weekend buff. Starting today, the five Crusaders below will receive boosts until Monday, November 7 at Noon PST.

• Jim, the Lumberjack - Sharpen Party ability +200%
• Dark Gryphon - All DPS +100%
• Gold Panda - All Gold Find +100%
• King Reginald IV - Royal Grail ability +200%
• Bubba, the Swimming Orc - Synchronized Swimming ability +200%

Summer is a lazy time of year where you get to slow down, reconnect with old friends and chill out. It's in that spirit that we're getting you to reconnect with your old friends in Crusaders. Namely some campaigns you'd love to revisit.

This week we're introducing four new objectives. There are two new additions to Mischief at Mugwarts and two new additions in Ready Player Two, most of which are on the harder side to encourage you just to kick-back and enjoy the long days playing Crusaders.

New Objective: Invisibility Cloak. Monsters are invisible!

In Invisibility Cloak monsters are invisible and won't take passive DPS until they're revealed: either when they attack your formation, or when they're clicked directly.

In the objective Fantastic Beasts, a new bumbling wizard takes up a slot in your formation and wreaks havoc with his inept summoning. Random monsters with different abilities assail the Crusaders throughout their entire trek to area 650.

New Objective: Fantastic Beasts. Invulneracorn can't be killed.

Boy and girl polkaman trainers take up slots in the objective Polkamans Go! Each area has a random polkaman creature that has to be caught before the Crusaders can continue. The polkaman can only be collected by actively clicking so you'll need to keep an eye out for these tricky creatures.

The final new objective, Acme Dark Souls is the most devious and arcane of all the new challenges. The greatest magic conjurers have come together wielding their mastery of the dark arts to create the ultimate in evil sorcery, a giant anvil. Every 10 seconds an anvil will drop from the sky and kill a random Crusader.

To celebrate the new objectives we're going to give five lucky Crusaders mellow midsummer buffs to complement their formation abilities and DPS until Monday, August 29 at 12 pm PDT.

Hermit, Princess, Phoenix, Nate and Alan all get a limited time buff applied automatically this weekend. The buffs are:

Hermit - Base DPS +400%

Princess - DPS All + 100%

Phoenix - Heart of the Phoenix +200%

Nate - Gold Find +100%

Alan - Blinding Light +200%

We like to think of Crusaders as the gift that keeps on giving and today we give you another update. We've added two new objectives for the Mischief at Mugwarts campaign and two new objectives to the Ready Player Two campaign.

In Accio Monsters, the Crusaders accidentally cast an Accio charm, and now monsters move 10x faster than normal! You're going to have to create your most effective tank line to block the onslaught of monsters all the way to area 450.

If you thought that was rough, it's going to get rougher than a sandpaper-covered loofah in The Final Battle objective. Deadly magic is flying everywhere, and death curses will randomly spawn and one-shot your front-most Crusaders until they wipe your formation. Good luck reaching area 500.

Making games isn't as easy as you think. Sometimes bugs creep in. In Glitch Out, the Crusaders will experience a whole host of random glitches that will both help and hinder your progress to area 450. Some will temporarily boost your DPS by +400% while other gremlins in the code will deactivate all your formation abilities. It's going to be a digital roller coaster.

The final new objective, Video Game of Thrones only allows you to pick Royal Crusaders for your formation to reach 450. That means you'll be limited to their Royal Highnesses Princess, Sal, Brogon, Thalia, Reginald, Siri and Leerion.

To celebrate the new objectives and the beginning of the summer we're going to give five lucky Crusaders white-hot buffs to complement their formation abilities and DPS until Monday June 6 at 12pm PDT.

• Khouri: +200% Koffee Potion ability
• Merci: +100% Gold buff
• Queen Siri: +100% Queen's Decree ability

We heard you like campaigns. Today we're launching the Mischief at Mugwarts campaign, a permanent update to Crusaders for you to play and enjoy! It features six new epic objectives and a dustpan formation designed to challenge even the most veteran player. However, the reward is a total of 1,500 precious Red Rubies if you can complete them all!

The new campaign takes the Crusaders back to school. A magical school, no less, where students are instructed in the ways of sorcery and participate in sports involving flying cleaning tools. It could just be us, but it does sound eerily familiar.

To support the new campaign Emo Werewolf, Khouri, the Witch Doctor, Fire Phoenix, Merci, the Wizard and Wendy the Witch if you have her, get a limited time buff to greatly enhance their power, applied automatically! Can their weekend power help you through a tough objective?
