Updated Event! Littlefoot's Big Adventure

Now that the sun is out in full force, the Great Outdoors is calling you for your annual Crusaders camping trip. Grab the old bivouac, tent, or yurt and get out there and enjoy that fresh air.

Last year we introduced you to Ranger Rayna and Littlefoot. This time you've introduced us to the new Tier 2 Crusaders! Well, you the community have named them after answering the call to help celebrate our second anniversary! The winning names are: Beary McBearFace and Penny the Park Planner.

The Littlefoot's Big Adventure event runs from today through to August 15th at Noon PDT. For those players who haven't unlocked them already, this is your chance to add both Ranger Rayna and Littlefoot to your roster.

The two new Tier 2 Crusaders, Beary and Penny, will be available to recruit after you've completed all the Tier 1 objectives and if you have the talent "Doing it Again" purchased.

New Crusader: Beary McBearFace.

At level 150, Beary unlocks Controlled Burn which lights a random monster on fire every 2.5 seconds. The monster stays on fire until it dies, taking 20% more damage from all sources.

At level 300, Beary unlocks Stomp Out Campfire which increases his DPS addtively +100% for each enemy on fire from Controlled Burn.

The second new Tier 2 Crusader is Penny the Park Planner.

New Crusader: Penny the Park Planner.

Once recruited, Penny unlocks Trash Pickup at level 100 where you'll automatically pick up gold and quest items after they've been lying on the ground for five seconds. Good news, the timer gets decreased with her gear!

At level 300, her ability Troupe Trooper gives all the Crusaders in the same column as Penny a +50% DPS boost.

Once you've recruited both Beary and Penny, there are three new side objectives to tackle in your quest.

New Objective: Firefighters.

In Firefighters, A random number of fire enemies spawn. They have a lot of health and do not drop gold.

New Objective: Primal Rage.

In the objective Primal Rage, only Crusaders with the DPS tag can be used to craft your formation and conquer the forest.

New Objective: Burnt Out.

The final new objective is Burnt Out. XP is replaced with 'Exhaustion.' A point of Exhaustion is earned once an hour and each point reduces hero damage by 95%. Clear the objective before your Crusaders become too tired to continue.

Equipment for all the Crusaders can be found in Silver and Jeweled Bigfoot chests.

Once again, you'll have until August 15th at Noon PDT to complete the event. Happy camping!

New Event! Littlefoot's Big Adventure

It's the time of year to forgo the usual comforts of your soft bed, sturdy walls, and an internet connection for a thin piece of material between you and mother nature. That's right! It's the Summer, and that means camping season!

New Crusader: Ranger Rayna

As the Crusaders set off into the wild, they are looking to rescue two new Crusaders and add them to the gang. The first of the two Crusaders is the hapless Ranger Rayna, who not only requires an escort to area 100 and salvation, but she'll mistakenly debuff adjacent Crusaders with park fines the entire way believing that she's not in any danger.

Once rescued, she'll become an asset. Her love of all wildlife enables her to heal any animal Crusaders by 25% of their max health per second when she reaches level 75. Furthermore, at level 150 she'll recieve a giant 200% increase to her DPS if there are four animal Crusaders in the formation.

New Crusader: Littlefoot

The second new Crusader is somewhat shy. Littlefoot has spent a lifetime minding her own business but all that is thrown into disarray when some determined Pokemon Go players/Bigfoot enthusiasts stumble across her home deep in the forest. Delirious with Augmented Reality they believe her to be a legendary Pokemon and chase her all the way to area 100 taking up valuable slots in the formation.

Once the Pokemon Go players run out of Poke Balls, Littlefoot is free to join the Crusaders and repace your current tank. At level 50 Littlefoot can employ her first unique ability, Parry. For the duration of the ability, Littlefoot is immune to damage for one second after a monster starts attacking her. If this effect lasts for more than 15 seconds in a row, it cannot occur for the next 15 seconds.

New Objective: Number One Threat

The remaining three objectives include Lost in the Woods where you Crusaders randomly become lost and disappear from the formation. The second objective, Number One Threat, will see the team pitted against godless killing machines - Col-bears. These vicious threats to the American way of life will randomly appear and if they reach the formation will insta-kill and then move onto the next Crusader victim.

New Objective: Long Journey

The final new objective is Long Journey requires the hiring of some pack horses to carry supplies all the way to area 300. Unfortunately, they'll take up slots in your formation.

The Littlefoot's Big Adventure event will run until August 1st at Noon PDT.

Big Update to Crusaders! Changes to Loot and Abilities.

One of the best things about creating Crusaders is that we have been overwhelmed and honoured by the excellent and invested community feedback. You have all been amazing in sending us your thoughts as you've collectively spent millions of hours playing Crusaders.

We've injected awesome into to the most significant areas of the game. From today, we have changed all the gear that was deemed less than useful for everyone, made Epics more Epic, and added new Crusader abilities.

These changes will benefit ALL players both going forward AND retroactively. All your previously collected loot will get the update!

For instance, Jason, Master of Shadows now has a gold boosting item to make him as useful as Pete, the Carney. Plus, Jason has a brand new ability where his DPS will be boosted when his formation friend is being attacked. Now you can partner him with a tank character for maximum effect.

Old Bonus: +100% DPS for Detective Kaine.
New Bonus: +50% Increase for Kaine's A-Ha! Ability.

Phoenix now lives up to her billing as a creature of death and rebirth. Her Vengeful Fury ability can now trigger when any other Crusader bites the dust. Her new ability gives you the option of putting her at the back of your formation and watching as monsters kill themselves trying to get to her.

Another update to Phoenix includes the skill to grant a Max Health boost to her fellow Crusaders when they lose a comrade. This will help your remaining Crusaders stay alive longer as they battle on against the monsters and hopefully help you turn the tide!

King Reginald now buffs all Royal Crusaders, as a king should. The Princess, Prince Sal, and Thalia the Thunder King, along with any future royal Crusaders, will get a DPS boost when you've unlocked Reggie's new ability if they're in formation with him.

There's a metric ton of other changes too and the full details are in the patch notes, available in the forums.

We're looking forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback on the changes and as ever, we are always listening. Thanks for being awesome!
