It's a new year -- time for a NEW PARTY! Or did the party even end last year? Who knows! All we know is that this year's party has a dragon!

It's time for Princess' Pool Party 5!

Princess' Pool Party 5 runs until Tuesday, January 21st at 12PM PST, introducing Jiaolong, the Guardian and bringing back Pilot Pam, Queen Siri, Bernard the Bartender, Princess Val the Mermaid, Shenna the Centaur, and Bruno the Unicorn!

New Tier 5 Crusader: Jiaolong, the Guardian

Jiaolong, the Guardian descends from the skies above to bring a powerful dragon DPS Crusader to your formations! His Laden Clouds ability increases his DPS based on a percentage of your Gold Find, while his Azure Skies, Razor Claws, and Nine Sons upgrades increase his DPS.

Every 25 levels over and including 200, Jiaolong's DPS is multiplied by four thanks to his Son of Heaven ability. With River Guardian, Jiaolong marks four slots in the formation when he's the highest DPS in the formation, with each marked slot increasing the Global DPS boosting of Crusaders in those slots (these slots change each reset). This ability is further buffed by Eternal Waterfall, which buffs River Guardian by 50% for each Support Crusader that it affects.

New Tier 5 Objectives

• Recruit Jiaolong | Jiaolong takes up a slot in the formation. Two dragon buddies also come along. Jiaolong splashes Crusaders and disables them.
  Reach area 400.


• Mayday | The formations "wings" and "tail" slots are clipped. Uh oh. Only dragons and winged Crusaders do DPS.
  Reach area 450.


• Euchred! | Can only use 4 Crusaders in the formation. Special Card Monsters spawn randomly and shield the other monsters while they're alive.
  Reach area 475.


• Party Time | Only Crusaders who like to party can be used in the formation:

  • Kyle the Party Bro
  • Bernard the Bartender
  • The Half-Blood Elf
  • Rocky the Rockstar
  • Leerion, the Royal Dwarf
  • Spaceking
  • Squiggles the Clown
  • Nate Dragon
  • Ana Guinness
  • Gemthel the Gourmet
  • Chef Casey
  • Deathpuddle
  • Carmen and Petunia
  Reach area 500.


• Serene Waterfall | Take a long walk to area 1200 while a Waterfall occupies a slot in the center of the formation.
  Reach area 1200.

Help! Where’s the Loot?

Equipment for event Crusaders can be found in Silver and Jeweled Pool Party Chests, which you can earn from objectives and the free play or buy in the shop. Each non-recruitment objective will drop a chest for its given tier of Crusaders, and free play will drop All Tier chests. Gear for Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4 and Tier 5 Crusaders will only appear in All Tier chests once you've unlocked the respective Crusaders. You can select the tier of chest you buy in the shop when you go to purchase chests with real money or event currency.

What About Older Event Crusaders?

Previously-available Princess Pool Party Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4 Crusaders are once again available to unlock as part of Princess Pool Party 5. For more information about those Crusaders, check out our Event Blogs from previous years:
