New Tier 3 Crusader: Griz the Robo-Coach

Griz the Robo-Coach is an aging, grizzled, robotic coach, who motivates everyone in front of him based on how far from him they are. Griz is also very old and may be slightly falling apart...

Crusaders Return

If you haven't collected them already, you can unlock our Tier One Crusaders Drizzle the Dark Elf and Groklok the Orc by completing the respective Tier One objectives. Then, you can collect the Tier Two Crusaders, Cindy the Cheer-Orc and Karl the Kicker, by completing the first two Tier Two objectives!

Five New Tier 3 Objectives!

• Recruit Griz the Robo-Coach | Griz takes up a slot in the formation and reduces the DPS of all Crusaders. The amount of the reduction is based on their distance away from Griz. Reach area 500 with his special coaching to recruit him.


• The Professionals | Only the Bush Whacker, Nate Dragon, and Carnage Cup Crusaders (Groklok, Drizzle, Karl, Cindy, and Griz) can be used. Reach area 600.


• Offside Play | The middle column is taken up by various Defenders. All Crusaders in front of them have their Formation Abilities disabled, and all Crusaders behind them have their DPS disabled. Reach area 650.


• Hot Potato | Three footballs move between slots in the formation. Whoever is in a slot containing a football has their DPS and Formation abilities disabled. Reach area 700.


• Tailgate Party | A pickup truck takes up the front few slots. When it's destroyed your formation is pushed back. Reach area 750.

Help! Where’s the Loot?

Equipment for event Crusaders can be found in Carnage Cup Silver and Jeweled Chests, which you can earn from objectives and the free play or buy in the shop. Each non-recruitment objective will drop a chest for its given tier of Crusaders, and free play will drop all-tier chests. Gear for the Tier 2 and 3 Crusaders will only appear in all-tier chests once you've unlocked the respective Crusader. You can select the tier of chest you buy in the shop.
