Superstitious folk blame Umberlee, but the merchant guild isn't so sure, and as the Fair Seas Festival gets underway your party begins their investigation in the Dock Ward of Waterdeep...

Fleetswake Year 9 finally brings the Heroes of the Lance to Idle Champions, and for us, there was only one choice in who should come first: Raistlin Majere.

Raistlin is available now. We hope you enjoy him. Next week, on March 11, a major update will arrive for Deekin Scalesinger, everyone's favorite troubador who sings about doom. Learn about the changes to Deekin's design when his Champion Update Blog arrives on Friday, March 6.

Event Augments

  • Golden Offers: One of your weekly offers will be Golden during this event. Golden offers provide an additional 10% discount! The Golden tag persists when an offer is rerolled.
  • Auto-Blacksmith: Event Champions whose recruitment adventure or variants you complete gain common rarity equipment in all slots, if they don't already have better. Every tier two or higher event variant completed automatically applies 100 Tiny Blacksmithing Contracts to the variant's Champion's equipment for free!
  • Challenge Week: A Mastery Challenge will start on the third week of the event, providing opportunities to prove your formation building skills and earn unique rewards.
  • Boon Enhancements: An additional boon buff at each level increases global damage based on the number of Dragonborn, Kobold, melee base attack, or Heroes of the Lance Champions in your formation, stacking additively.

BW2: Generation 20 Pets are Here!

Gotta find 'em all!

A new selection of critters are now available to be your companions!

Those weirdly random abandoned eggs scattered all over Bushwhackia have been switched up and all new pets are ready to hatch when you accept the "Find an Egg" quest from Misty. She will also have all the Generation 20 eggs available to purchase for Bush Bucks during the "Find an Egg" quest.

Other changes to Misty and Hank for Generation 20:

  • Misty will no longer let players abandon Gen 19 pet eggs that they are hatching (they're now too rare). Only current generation pet eggs can be abandoned during hatching. Please note that if you're in the middle of hatching a pet, then that egg will still hatch into whatever pet it would have been before.

  • Generation 19 pet eggs can now be found in Quester's Satchels (with the same limitations as the Generation 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18 eggs, which will still be available in satchels as well.)

  • Hank now sells a random assortment of hatched level 1 Generation 20 pets (instead of Generation 19) for Bush Bucks in his pet store.

PAGAS changes for Generation 20:

  • Generation 20 pet eggs are available to buy with DNA in the PAGAS store, once you have hatched at least five Generation 20 pets. This include 8 unique variations of the new pets.

  • The Pet Progress dialog now includes Generation 20 pets. Another 18 new pets that all players can unlock!

  • Added 1400 unique pet collection reward: DNA Augment
  • Added 1450 unique pet collection reward: 10k Nutritious Training Kibble

Idle Champions: Introducing Raistlin Majere

    Born frail yet gifted with an uncanny aptitude for magic, Raistlin Majere is the Sorcery to his older twin brother Caramon's Sword. The youngest wizard ever to attempt the Test of High Sorcery, Raistlin was forever changed, marked by white hair, golden skin, and hourglass eyes that see the accelerated passage of time. Together with his fellow Heroes of the Lance, Raistlin wields his formidable arcane talents against Takhisis, the Dragon Queen.
Raistlin is a DPS Champion who excels when positioned away from the rest of the formation. His damage grows when positional formation abilities focus on just him and a small number of other Champions, and he'll periodically toss a fireball at the next area, resulting in enemies being softened up before the party arrives.

Raistlin Majere is the first Hero of the Lance to come to Idle Champions -- but he will not be the last! We've been privileged to get a chance to work with author Margaret Weis to bring Raistlin to life as he was at the beginning of Dragons of Autumn Twilight, just five years after he completed his Test of High Sorcery, when he and his brother Caramon met up with their friends at the Inn of the Last Home.

Abilities

Basic Attack

  • Magic Missile (magic) - Raistlin fires a number of magic missiles at the toughest enemies.

Formation Abilities

  • Prodigy of High Sorcery - Raistlin increases his damage by 100% for each Champion that is not adjacent to him, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Savant - For each positional formation ability affecting Raistlin, he gains Intensity stacks based on how few other Champions are also affected by the same ability. He gains one stack if there are three other Champions affected, two if there are two other Champions affected, three if there is only one other Champion affected, and four if Raistlin is the only Champion affected. The effect of Prodigy of High Sorcery is increased by 100% for each Intensity stack Raistlin has, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Debilitating Magic - When Raistlin attacks and is at or above 90% of his max health, he takes 1% of his max health as damage but deals 400% more damage with his attack.
  • Herbalism - Other Champions' healing effects on Raistlin are reduced by 50%. Whenever any other Champion in the formation uses an ultimate attack, Raistlin drinks a cup of tea after his next attack, healing himself for 2% of his max health for each ultimate that was used, stacking additively.
  • Flames of High Sorcery - While fighting in an area with an incomplete quest, Raistlin casts Fireball at enemies in the next area after every fourth attack. This causes those enemies to spawn with missing health equal to 10% of their max health, stacking additively up to five times.

Specializations

  • Heroic Mage - Raistlin increases the effect of Prodigy of High Sorcery by 125% for each Good Champion in the formation, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Reclusive Mage - Raistlin increases the effect of Prodigy of High Sorcery by 125% for each Champion in the formation with a Melee or Ranged base attack, stacking multiplicatively.
  • War Mage - Raistlin increases the effect of Prodigy of High Sorcery by 300% for each Tanking Champion in the formation, stacking multiplicatively.

Ultimate Ability

  • Raistlin's Wheel of Flame (magic) - Raistlin envelopes enemies with a deadly ring of fire, dealing one ultimate hit every second to enemies in the area.

A Grand Tour of the Sword Coast

Get Back In The Castle

Variant: Kas the DPS

Fight your way across Tovag with Kas as your main damage dealer!
  • Kas starts in the formation. He can be moved, but not removed.
  • You may not use any other Champions that have the DPS role.
  • A random elemental boss spawns in the first wave of non-boss areas. These bosses don't drop gold or loot bags, or count towards quest progress.
  • Champions don't recover health when moving to a new area.
  • Champions resurrect at half health when changing areas instead of full health.
  • At the start of each area, Champions take damage equal to 30% of their max health.
  • Champions that aren't Evil deal no damage with their base attacks.
  • Complete Area 600

Checkmate

Variant: Endgame

Return to Candlekeep when you are fully geared up!
  • You may only use Champions that have all Epic equipment and an average item level of at least 1000.
  • Quest Requirements for the first 300 areas are reduced by 50%.
  • Complete Area 675

Vecna Out!

Variant: Sacrificial Lambs

It's just you and Vecna - and a bunch of disposable goody two-shoes.
  • After every 50 areas, a random non-evil Champion is removed from the formation and can't be used for the rest of the adventure. If there are no non-evil Champions left in the formation, an evil Champion is removed instead.
  • Fire breath potions can't be used during the adventure, and click damage has no effect after area 100.
  • Complete Area 675
  • Additional Rewards
    • 5 Modron Component Chests
    • 1,250 Corrupted Gems

Light of Xaryxis

The Hunt for The Last Breath

Variant: The Devilish Hunt for the Last Breath

To Infinity's and Beyond

Variant: Somebody's Poisoned the Waterhole!

Travel to the tavern of Infinity's to find a solution to some horrible poison.
  • All the Champions are poisoned. Every second, Champions take damage equal to 2.5% of their max health.
  • Champions don't recover health when moving to a new area.
  • Champions resurrect at half health when changing areas instead of full health.
  • 1-2 watery elementals spawn with each wave. They don't drop gold nor count towards quest progress.
  • Complete Area 900

The Jungles of Doomspace

Variant: Sleep Tight

Explore the jungles of Aruun and try to keep your eyes open.
  • Every 6 seconds, a random Champion falls asleep for 30 seconds. While asleep, they are stunned. Elves, Half-Elves, and Warforged are immune to this.
  • Complete Area 950

The Arena of Blood

Variant: Out of the Frying Pan

Travel to the Arena of Blood while under fire!
  • You may not use Champions with a melee base attack.
  • 1-2 fiery elementals spawn with each wave. They don't drop gold nor count towards quest progress
  • A Fire Elemental joins the formation.
  • Complete Area 1000

Turn of Fortune's Wheel

Shemeshka's Gambit

Variant: Windy Day

Face down Shemeshka and determine Wren's true loyalty in a brisk windstorm.
  • The Weather is Windy in each area. Champions with Ranged attacks deal no damage with their normal attacks due to the blustery weather.
  • You may only use Neutral Good Champions.
  • 1-2 Steam Mephits spawn with each wave. They don't drop gold nor count towards quest progress.
  • An Air Elemental spawns as an additional boss in each boss area. They must also be defeated to progress.
  • Complete Area 1300

Tyrant's Spiral

Variant: Eye Eye, Captain!

Travel to the Gzemnid's Realm while facing even more beholders!
  • You may only use Fighters, Rogues, and Rangers.
  • 1 Gazer spawns with each wave. They don't drop gold nor count towards quest progress. The number of gazers increases by 1 every 100 areas, to a maximum of 10 Gazers at area 901 and beyond
  • In each boss area, an additional Beholder boss with more health than normal spawns with the second wave. All other monsters are immune to damage until this Beholder is defeated.
  • Complete Area 1350

Vecna: Eve of Ruin

The Red Belvedere

Variant: Double Down

Score big at a hellish casino with double the stakes!
  • Every time an enemy spawns, a copy also spawns.
  • Each non-static boss spawns with a copy that must also be defeated to progress.
  • Static bosses spawn with double the health.
  • You may only use Champions with a base attack cooldown of 5 seconds or less, but all Champion base attack cooldowns are doubled.
  • Complete Area 1150

Pandemonium

Variant: Random-onium

Trek across Random-onium in search of Vecna.
  • You may only use Chaotic Champions.
  • Each time a Champion attacks, their next base attack cooldown is randomly set to a time between 1 and 20 seconds.
  • Each enemy spawns with a random buff: Speed is increased by 500%, Damage is increased by 500%, or Health is increased by 500%. This includes boss enemies.
  • Complete Area 1250

The War of Pandesmos

Variant: The Fiery War of Pandesmos

Square off with Lolth's forces in Pandesmos with some unique allies.
  • You may only use Champions that are NOT a Standard Species. Standard species are Aasimar, Dragonborn, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Goliath, Halfling, Human, Orc, Tiefling, Half-Orc, and Half-Elf.
  • 1-2 fiery foes spawn with each wave. These enemies have 300% speed, and they don't drop gold nor count towards quest progress.
  • Complete Area 1300

Happy Valentine's Day Bushwhackers!

The residents of the Commons are putting on a Valentine's Day dance, so you know what that means! Helping with the set-up through one-time and daily quests, plus turn-ins!

It's not Valentine's without presents! Help stock the stands with Chocolates, Teddy Bears and Roses by turning in Candy Hearts as the stations unlock.

Getting Organized


The event organizer seems a bit frazzled. Why don't you help her out by doing her set-up quests each day? And don't forget to keep those party supplies topped off!

Once the Valentine's dance has started, you get to look for the partner of your choice to share a moment on the dance floor.

Jim & Sasha <3

Jim and Sasha's relationship quests are around. If you haven't married them yet, you'll see either their Dating or Proposal quest line. If they are married, you get to help the pair pack for their honeymoon, or celebrate their anniversary.

Your Secret Admirer

And who is that mysterious note from this year?

Like Rabbits

Aaron's bunnies, Cinnamon and Snowball, have run off and are making like, well rabbits! This is a challenging quest that might take you the better part of the event to complete, as you've got to catch not only Cinnamon and Snowball, but their 100 little bunny babies as well! Good luck!

Nate's Complicated Relationship

Nate's needs your help setting up a date with his one true love: Adventure! When he returns from his "date", he'll bring you back a Trophy for his sister Natalie. Later on, one of the girls will need some support after her Kindler Date dumps her. Ice Cream daily quests ought to help, until it's time to help them through the 5 stages of grief. All five quests will unlock right after each other and then she will have a new daily quest for you.

Battle of the Bands!

If you're all caught up on Jimmie's quest series, he'll challenge Marvin to a battle of the bands! You're the judge, assuming you can stay conscious during their face-melting guitar solos!

Changing Sanctuary Partners!

Now's the only change to break up with your current partner in Sanctuary Village. Sounds harsh, I know. But we've gotten requests to be able to switch who you're dating, so this is how you do it: Talk to your partner, Burl or Faun, and choose the "I think we should break up" chat option. After which you'll be able to date the other person, or even them again. Note you can only do this during the Valentine's event, and cannot do it during the Gift of Love quest.

The Dragon Flight

Remember that dragon that was invited to Nate's birthday but continued to burn the Commons because it was sick? It's back!

This quest replaces Nate's Teddy Bear quest after you've completed his "Crawling Back" quest the previous year.

Pet Packs

Three new pets, the Spritz Cookie, Rose, and Pink Candy Heart, can be seen in the event area later on. You can pick them up the second weekend of the event, February 20th to 22nd in Pet Packs bursting with goodies! Want them all? Grab them all for less in the bundle!

Quality of Life Update (February 12th, 2026)

- Corrected the spelling of the Grey Eagle in the PAGAS pet progress

- Increased bonus of Pearl Bracelet trinket from +40 to 42 Max Mana

- Increased bonus of Flux Pearl Bracelet (rare) from +52 to +58 Max Mana

- Increased bonus of Flux Dwarven Engineering Ring (uncommon) from +48 to +50 Max Power

- Added option to trade Merdain Mats for Prisma Mirians at the Ye Prismatic Mirian Market in Halflight Haven after you've completed Mirdain's Architectural Aspirations quest

- Can now change the size of your house on your ranch to any of the sizes you've unlocked via the house expansion quests by talking to Jim the Lumberjack in the Commons

- Fixed ranch sets not saving your house exterior skin (would just use the last exterior skin you had set for every ranch set).

- Added Ebony Ranch House and Pink Birch Ranch House exteriors to the Contractor merchant

BW2: Creature Collector - Mantis Mounts!

Coppers of the Creature Collector

The eccentric Creature Collector has returned to the Commons, this time with a trio of mantis mounts!



Head to the event area and choose one to train. You have until noon on Wednesday February 11th to complete the collector's four daily quests, level up your chosen creature, earn Creature Coppers to spend in their store, and get another page to your Creature Collector's Compendium!

The Compendium Page will be given after the event ends. If you don't have the Creature Collector's Compendium ranch item, you'll get it when you get your first page.

After the event, the collector will be taking their creature back unless you adopt it by purchasing its corresponding mount pack, available during this mini-event only!

Train hard, Bush Whackers!

The training quests unlock at noon on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Those busy on the weekends can still catch up!

Notes
- The VIP "Quest Reset" power does not reset these mini event quests, and they are not affected by the Time Turner and Timey Whimey Watch.
- These three mounts earn double the experience compared to other mounts for the duration of this mini-event!

Ye Olde Creature Collector's Galleria - Mounts

When you speak to Tanela Tiva in the event area, you can select the "What past mounts are for sale?" chat option.

This will open a new store, which will contain 3 non-event premium mounts you have never owned! They cost Bush Bucks, like in event stores. The selection will change next time Tanela Tiva visits to event area.

We've done this in response to players asking to see old premium mounts they've missed out on, to help you fill out your mount collection. Snag those old-school mounts you're missing out on!
