Dr. Evil's Summer Sabotage 6 has arrived, bringing with it the Regent Sawtooth.

This year's event runs until Tuesday, September 7th at 12:00 PM Pacific Time (UTC -7), introducing Regent Sawtooth and bringing back Oona, Para Rugby Star, Veronica, the Android Archer, Bubba, the Swimming Orc, The Gold Hound, Milgrid the Mining Mage, Dr. Evil, PhD, and Euodia, the Fencer!

New Tier 6 Crusader: Regent Sawtooth

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water...it was actually.

Regent Sawtooth isn't always in the ocean. Sometimes he's on dry land training for the various triathlons he enters, or off running "errands." And now he's interested in joining your band of Crusaders, to see what other errands he can do out in the multiverse.

Don't worry though: since you're now family, he'll look after you, providing some healing when he's in the formation, and he's got the connections to make the active abilities like Click-o-Rama, Savage Strikes et al last longer. Those are some good connections.

But maybe you should still sleep with one eye open, just in case.

Regent Sawtooth is a Support and Healer Crusader. When you want to add him to your formation, you can find him in slot 31.

New Tier 6 Objectives

• Recruit Regent Sawtooth | Regent Sawtooth takes up a slot in the formation. Veronica, the Android Archer and Bubba, the Swimming Orc take up spots in formation and can't be moved. Acquaintances of Regent Sawtooth randomly attack the formation, trying to just "have a chat.". Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 600.


• Sniffing Out Sabotage |The Goldhound and Milgrid the Mining Mage take up spots in formation and can't be moved. Aside from the locked-in crusaders, only Evil tagged crusaders can be used. Powerful robots attack your formation, healing all monsters and firing lasers from range. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 650.


• Doctor Doctor | Dr. Evil, PhD takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved.Aside from the locked-in crusader, only Evil tagged crusaders can be used. Horrible Experiment can't be disabled. A rival doctor occupies a slot in the formation and damages the Crusaders infected with Horrible Experiment by 15% of their health per second. The rival doctor also provides a 200% DPS buff, multiplicative per infected Crusader. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 675.


• Bout with Evil | Euodia the Fencer takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved All area quests are now kill 50 monsters. Aside from the locked-in crusader, only Evil tagged Crusaders can be used. The formation has been changed. Quest requirements are tripled. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Bullet Hell on Ready Player Two to complete. Reach area 700.


• Rugby Perils | Oona, Para Rugby Star takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. Aside from the locked-in Crusader, only Evil tagged crusaders can be used. Only Oona does DPS. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Bullet Hell on Ready Player Two to complete. Reach area 725.

Dr. Evil's Summer Sabotage returns, bringing a Para Rugby Crusader into play. Oona, Para Rugby Star promises to be a superbly-powerful DPS Crusader in the right formation. We can't wait!

ANNOUNCER 2: The fact that she is a Record Chaser is certainly noteworthy - her DPS increases exponentially as the enemy spawn rate increases.
ANNOUNCER 1: Whoa!
ANNOUNCER 2: Yeah, it combines well with her Elven Stamina, which increases her DPS for every 25 levels over and including 200, multiplying her DPS by a factor of 4.
ANNOUNCER 1: What about her Blueshift? Have you seen that?
ANNOUNCER 2: I haven't yet, but I hear it somehow makes enemies weaker, reducing their effective level by 25 while retaining their damage and gold values.
ANNOUNCER 1: And of course, she also plays Murderball.
ANNOUNCER 2: Don't get me started on that - she's a force to be reckoned with! She can Turn on a Dime and improve Record Chaser even further.
ANNOUNCER 1: Would you say she has 'No Limits'?
ANNOUNCER 2: I certainly would. She is an asset to any formation.

New Tier 5 Objectives

• Recruit Oona, Para Rugby Star | Oona, Para Rugby Star and two cheerleaders take up slots in the formation, moving every 100 areas. Cheerleaders buff gold found when gold-finding Crusaders are adjacent to them. DPS crusaders are unavailable.
  Reach area 400.


• Quadrathlon | The four sketchy clones are back, each with a unique annoying power.
  Reach area 450.


• Cauldron of Flame | There's a volcano in the formation! Upon entering each area, the volcano erupts, spawning between 5 and 10 indestructible fire monsters.
  Reach area 475.


• Sporting Supplies | Demonic sports supplies occupy six prime slots in the formation.
  Reach area 500.


• Golden Gun | A mysterious man occupies a slot in the formation, and buffs your DPS.
  Reach area 525.

Equipment for event Crusaders can be found in Silver and Jeweled Crusader Games Chests, which you can earn from objectives and the free play or buy in the shop. Each non-recruitment objective will drop a chest for its given tier of Crusaders, and free play will drop All Tier chests. OH NO! DR. EVIL IS AT IT AGAIN!

Wait... didn't this happen last year? And the year before? And the year before that?

We should have seen this coming! Luckily, it seems at least one person was prepared for Dr. Evil's inevitable return: Euodia, the Fencer is here to help the Crusaders foil Dr. Evil's plans once again!

Dr. Evil's Summer Sabotage 4 introduces Euodia, the Fencer and brings back Veronica, the Android Archer, Bubba, the Swimming Orc, The Gold Hound, Milgrid the Mining Mage, and Dr. Evil, PhD. The adventure ends on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 at 12:00PM PDT!

New Tier 4 Crusader: Euodia, the Fencer

Euodia is deceptively fast for a minotaur, able to increase the speed of monster spawns through First Blood and Lightning Precision and even increase the speed of quest item drops with Sense of Direction. She can even improve First Blood with Fancy Footwork as Orcs, Dwarves, and Elves join the formation! Euodia improves DPS and Global DPS through Cradle the Bird and Toe Pokes.

If you want to get as far as possible as quickly as possible, Euodia, the Fencer is the Crusader for you!

Crusaders Return

If you haven't collected them already, you can unlock previous Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Crusaders by completing their respective objectives. Veronica, the Android Archer, Bubba, the Swimming Orc, The Gold Hound, Milgrid the Mining Mage, and Dr. Evil, PhD are all once again available to unlock!

New Tier 4 Objectives

• Recruit Euodia, the Fencer | Euodia takes up a slot in the formation. Non-DPS Crusaders who aren't adjacent to a DPS Crusader will be disabled.
  Reach area 600.


• A Tankless Task | Only Taskmasters and Abilities can do damage. No tank Crusaders allowed.
  Reach area 700.


• Relay Race | Only 6 consecutive bench slots are available at a time, starting with the first 6 and working up to the final 6 as you approach area 750.
  Reach area 750.


• Pair Up! | Each Crusader is randomly paired up with a partner. Crusaders have their DPS and formation abilities disabled unless they are adjacent to their partner.
  Reach area 800.


• Amateur Volleyball | The middle column of the formation is removed. Crusaders now toss a volleyball between each 'side' of the formation. Crusaders hold on to the volleyball for 10 seconds, violating the rules of the game and disabling their abilities.
  Reach area 850.

...and just like last year and the year before, the Crusaders of the Lost Idols Summer Games are the part of a nefarious plot. It looks like the Summer Games need to be protected by the Crusaders for a third time...

Dr. Evil's Summer Sabotage 2018 runs until Tuesday, August 14th at 12:00pm PDT, and introduces Dr. Evil, PhD!

New Tier 3 Crusader: Dr. Evil, PhD

Before the accident that turned him robotic, Dr. Evil would experiment on Crusaders, infecting them with viruses to increase their combat potential...

Crusaders Return

If you haven't collected them already, you can unlock previous Tier One and Two Crusaders by completing their respective Tier One and Two Objectives. Veronica, the Android Archer, Bubba, the Swimming Orc, The Gold Hound, and Milgrid the Mining Mage will be available to unlock while Dr. Evil's Summer Sabotage 2018 is live!

Five New Tier 3 Objectives!

• Recruit Dr. Evil, PhD | Dr. Evil takes up a slot and infects a random Crusader every 10 seconds. The infection disables the DPS and Formation Abilities of the affected Crusader. Lasts until you change areas. No effect in boss areas. Reach area 500.


• Experiments in Robotics | Only Dr. Evil, PhD, The Goldhound, Milgrid the Mining Mage, The Bush Whacker, and Robot Crusaders can be used. Reach area 600.


• Experiments in e.V.i.L | Only Crusaders with a V or L in their name can be used. Nate Dragon can also be used, because blowing up the world is kinda evil. Reach area 650.


• Experiments in Steroids | Monsters move ten times faster, live for at least one second, and do double damage. Reach area 700.


• Experiments in Difficulty | The areas get harder much faster. Reach area 175.

The Summer Games have been besieged by evil once more, but maybe this year you can play for the other team. Maybe it's fun being evil?

The following Crusaders will get a buff this weekend starting from today until 12 pm PDT on Monday August 28th.

• Veronica, the Android Archer - Precise Aim ability +200%
• Sasha, the Fierce Warrior - Bulwark ability +200%
• Bubba, the Swimming Orc - Synchronized Swimmming +200%
• Fire Phoenix - All DPS +200%
• Merci, the Mad Wizard - Deflect Evil ability +200%

(Please note: The chest will only contain gear for Veronica and Bubba if you've unlocked them. You can purchase the Golden Epic for Bubba, even if you don't have him, and it will show up on him once you earn him.)

The Crusaders of the Lost Idols Summer Games were so popular we've decided to hold them again this year... and every year. Unfortunately, that means Dr Evil gets a chance to sabotage the event every year too!

Dr. Evil's Summer Sabotage event runs from today through to September 5th at Noon PDT. For those players who haven't unlocked them already, this is your chance to add both Veronica and Bubba to your roster.

Two new Tier 2 Crusaders, The Goldhound and Milgrid, the Mining Mage, will be available to recruit after you've completed all the Tier 1 objectives and if you have the talent "Doing it Again" purchased.

New Crusader: The Goldhound.


At level 100, The Goldhound unlocks Gold Nose gives you +10% Gold Find for each monster killed, up to a cap of 200%. Plus he has gear to augment it!

At level 400, The Goldhound unlocks Tail Wag gives you +100% Gold Find for the first 15 seconds in each area.

The second new Tier 2 Crusader is Milgrid, the Mining Mage.

Once recruited, Milgrid unlocks We've Got To Go Deeper at level 100, which will increase your DPS for all Crusaders +25% for every 50 areas you've completed.

At level 400, her ability Deepest Mining will give We've Got To Go Deeper a 100% boost!

Once you've recruited both The Goldhound and Milgrid, there are three new side objectives to tackle in your quest.

New Objective: The Great Heist.

In The Great Heist, two of Dr. Evil's masked robbers join your formation and nab quest item drops for themselves until you beat area 400.

New Objective: Gold Medal In Evil.

In the objective Gold Medal In Evil, Dr. Evil slowly replaces your formation with not-very-convincing clones of your Crusaders, each of which take up a slot and causes your global DPS to drop by 50% multiplicatively. A new clone appears in your formation every 50 areas.

New Objective: Dr. Evil Unleashed.

The final new objective is Dr. Evil Unleashed. A super powerful Dr. Evil robot spawns randomly. It attacks via a ranged laser cannon. It heals itself and all monsters and takes reduced damage.

Once again, you'll have until September 5th at Noon PDT to complete the event.

After a giant, surreal opening ceremony we are delighted to declare the Crusaders of the Lost Idols Summer Games open!

However, as usual with huge international events, nefarious ne'er-do-wells plot to disrupt the pageantry and sportsmanship. Despite his name, Dr. Evil escaped the surveillance programs put in place by the organizers. Now he has made off with the Summer Games Flashlight, the Duracell-powered symbol of sport (and convenient portable lighting when it gets dark).

The Crusaders have been hired to not only locate the aforementioned flashlight but also protect the event. That responsibility starts with the safe conduct of two new Crusaders.

New Crusader: Veronica, the Android Archer

Veronica, the Android Archer, certainly won't fail the doping tests, but something suggests she's going to have an unfair advantage in the archery competition. We can't quite put our finger on it. Whatever.

For the first objective, the heroes must escort her to area 100 as part of her training. Unfortunately for the Crusaders her Russian-purchased hardware is malfunctioning shooting sparks at the rest of the formation every 30-45 seconds reducing the global DPS by 50% for 15 seconds at a time.

At area 100 she'll return from the maintenance bay ready to aid the Crusaders. Her upgrades buff those around her with increasing damage based on the number of other robot Crusaders in your formation.

New Crusader: Bubba, the Swimming Orc

The second Crusader is Bubba, the Swimming Orc. With a name like that, it's no wonder Bubba didn't do so well at other disciplines like the equestrian trials and hockey.

Bubba is excellent at swimming. He's so good, in fact, he's earned himself a fervent following of fans who attack the Crusaders to get to him until they reach area 100.

Once recruited, Bubba uses his superior swimming ability at level 25 to buff the DPS of the Crusaders behind him by 25% for every adjacent Crusader. At level 100, Bubba will increase the Gold Find of every Crusader behind him not affected by his Synchronized Swimming ability by 10%.

New Objective: Press Junket

The remaining three objectives are Podium Finish, Press Junket, and Corrupt Officials. In Podium Finish three medals take up formation slots all the way to area 150. in Press Junket angry reporters demanding explanations for your lackluster performances attack the Crusaders. Block them all with 'no comment' and swift cuffs to the head. The final objective will see corrupt officials bribe random Crusaders to throw the race all the way to area 250 and reduce their DPS.

Dr. Evil's Summer Sabotage Challenge

In the spirit of competition the world over right now, we have a special announcement. Three of our good friends on YouTube are going to be competing against each other to finish Dr. Evil's Summer of Sabotage event with the winner earning a free jeweled chest for each and every one of their subscribers.

Hailing from the United States is MrBayEasy. An idle gamer of Olympian ability, MrBayEasy has been playing Crusaders from way back in October last year. From Germany, Bensch is another giant of the idle games pantheon with more than 130 Crusaders videos under his belt on his channel. Last, but by no means least, we have Brothgar also hailing from the United States. Brothgar's idle game pedigree is uncontested with many years of playing both Crusaders and other games on his channel.

1st Prize: Free Jeweled Chest for Every Subscriber

As mentioned, the winner will earn a free jeweled chest for every one of their subscribers!. The rules are simple, the contender who finishes all five objectives in the event in the shortest time will be named the champion. Due to time zones and other commitments, we'll be recording each of their start and finish times as opposed to the launch of the event.
