Hi Shards Fans! It's event time!

A league of Explorers have set up their base camp in the event zone and invited you to come along while they investigate a Desert shard that has drifted nearby.

Venture through the various regions collecting items for all the Explorers' quests to turn in for Explorer League Credits to buy a selection of quest or reward items from the Quartermaster.

When you finish a quest, you can warp back to the camp to turn it in to the relevant character by clicking on the quest in the tracker on the left of the screen.

Talk to the expedition leader to send supplies you've gathered through the gate and reset the repeatable quests to complete them again. This ability is available every 4 hours if you've turned in a quest that completes from breakable drops.

Each region resets every 8 hours, or you can buy a Monster Lure or use Shardium to reset a region if you're looking to continue collecting everything right away.

If you happen to close the game while you're in the event, you'll return to the event region where you last were.

And keep your eyes open for possible secrets the shards could hold.

Plus, we've added a map to make traveling to the various regions easier!

Introducing the Pet Shop! Build it to use eggs and growth supplies to start growing a pet of your own!

Growth supplies and eggs will drop from chests and battles from running missions. The different types of Purified Waters will only drop from the area they belong to. Or if you have Pet Tokens, you can buy supplies and eggs!

Mix the egg with crystals and water to start the growing process. Wait and see what pet grows!

Have some extra gold or lumber burning a hole in your pocket? Donate to the Pet Store every 20 hours to get some extra Pet Tokens! Plus complete other tasks!

Too many pets? You can sell them to the NPC in the pens to get Pet Tokens!

Hi Shards Fans!

Thank you for your patience! The Jungle Shard is now live!

This update adds:

• Level cap increase to level 45!


• 7 new areas! Over 30 new single player missions!


• 3 new mulitplayers!


• Tons of new gear!


• New bosses in the Hall of Trials!


• Upgraded Warehouse to level 45, which means a higher gold and lumber limit!


• The Blacksmith will require leveling to Enchant gear to your new character level.


• The Brotherhood will be locked until you reach the new level cap.


• Because level 45 offers new skill arrangements, you will need to unlock the Heroic Tiers again once you have access to the missions.


• Secondary quests are now like the Valentine's Event. Complete quests to earn Jungle Tokens, which you can use to buy cool items from the Jungle Merchant.

Heroic Difficulty Tiers

• Heroic missions now have sequential tiers of difficulty.
• Each higher tier gives 1 more Paragon token.
• Heroic missions now drop Epic Power Fragments which can be used to level up your Epic Gear in the Blacksmith.
• Loot drops will be adjusted for the higher tiers to reflect the difficulty with more Rare gear, Gem and possibly Epic gear drops.
• Missions have limits for power fragment drops so you spread out your efforts.

Epic Equipment Tier Up

• Using the Epic Power Fragments dropped from Heroic missions, you can tier up your Epic gear.
• Each upgrade will boost all the stats on your gear by 20%.
• The stat boost is applied to the piece of gear, so you can still reforge as much as you like.
• The cost for each tier upgrade will go up substantially to reflect the value of the improved power.

Equipment Level Up

• Upgrade the level of your Equipment with Upgrade Kits at the Blacksmith.
• Uncommon and Rare kits can be crafted from scrap in the Crafting tab.
• Epic upgrade kits will be available from the Hall of Trials.
• Equipment can only be leveled up to the level of your character.
• Leveling up equipment will increase its effectiveness and boost the stats, to increase the longevity of your gear so you don't have to replace it outright every time you level up.

Other Changes

• Hall of Trials store now has a Resources tab where you can buy the Epic Upgrade kit.
• Combined the Armor and Magic Resistance potions into a single Defense buff.
• Added tokens to purchase a Refresh of the Paragon Brotherhood tasks.
• XP Buff and Luck Buff have been added to the store.

To complement the release of the Heroic Tiers, we're having a sale for level 30 characters!
There are 2 packs available which you can buy 5 times per character!

• Slotting Rods,

Hi Shards fans!

We're rolling out 3 new bounties for you to enjoy today! They will be joining in the rotation of the current bounties so it will now repeat every 6 days. Enjoy the mayhem caused as you hunt down the new targets, starting today with The Stolen Booty!

Plus we fixed the glitch where you could complete a single player bounty for no stamina if you had it as a Brotherhood task. And a reminder that you can now block incoming guild and friend requests by selecting those in the settings menu and skill costs show in Skills dialog.

You can also now do multiplayers on Heroic as well as start collecting Epic Fragments!

Here's the breakdown on some of the changes that were added to the game today.

Companion Gear

• You can now put found gear on your Companions.
• Their missions now give Rare gear.
• The Companion dialog in the Tavern now displays all the gear available, their Battle Rating and the effect of Loyalty and Leadership.
  
  
  

Crafting

• Uncommon and Rare Gear is now craftable in the Blacksmith.
• Gear is craftable to the level of your Blacksmith.
• Leveling up the Blacksmith requires Lumber and Common Scrap.
• Uncommon gear is available from just having the Blacksmith.
• Rare gear recipes are available from mission drops or the Shardium store. You will need to use them to make them show up in the Blacksmith.
• Recipes have a max level they are craftable to. Once you're past that level, you'll need to find new recipes.
• Epic recipes will be in a future update.

Hall of Trials

• Bosses are now every four (4) levels.
• You should be able to get as far as you could before.
• The Brotherhood Tasks now reflect this, giving you tasks for Level 16 (the Goblins), Level 20 (Oliver), Level 24(Eliza), and Level 28 (the Spiders).
• You can now buy Epic Gear to put on your companions. You will only see the non-class gear that they can equip.

Improved Battle Rating

• The Battle Rating will now be less skewed towards health.
• The new rating is a combination of the Attack Rating (which includes Speed, and Crit), 10% of the Health rating, your Armor rating, and the new Level Effectiveness rating.

Level Effectiveness

• Players, Companions, and Enemies now have an effectiveness level.
• Equipped gear closer to your level is more beneficial.
• Higher level combatants will now do more damage to lower level combatants and lower levels will be less effective against higher levels.
