A Visitor From the Far Far Ranch

The Far Far Ranch is far far away, but there's a visitor that's brought a piece of it to the Commons!

Bea's visiting from the Far Far Ranch and has brought three Bubble Buddies to see if they'll thrive in Bushwhackia.

Bubble Buddies

Bubble Buddies are cute bouncy critters that come in an array of looks and abilities! Let's see the three Bea's brought with her:



Buddies eat Bushy Carrots and output Blorts, which Bea will trade you for in her Ye Bouncy Buddy Boutique store. Watch the buddies get bigger and bigger as you feed them!

Buddies will also eat the more rare Spicy Tofu to output Blorts AND a resource unique to that buddy. Here are the buddies and their unique yields:

Bat Buddy - Gold
Lion Buddy - Gems
Unicorn Buddy - Mana/Power
During Bea's visit, Bushy Carrots and Spicy Tofu can be found in bushes all over Bushwhackia.

Help feed their bouncy bodies, earn Blorts, and redeem prizes! The saying goes, 'Big Buddies have bottomless bellies!'

Instant Egg Incubation!

Bea's brought a machine that can instantly hatch a basic pet egg! You'll need to whack up a lot of fuel to get it working, via a challenging collection quest. Should you manage it quickly, you can even attempt it a couple more times at the cost of some Bush Bucks to repair the egg machine.

A Feeding Frenzy!

Bea and her buddies leave on Wednesday October 11th, so make the most of the opportunity while you can!

Crusaders Limited-Time Quest (October 6, 2023)

- Moved the Steampunk Wrench and Reversed Revolver from the Pawn Stars to Holiday Enthusiast wandering merchant, as they're originally obtained from limited-time quests.

- Fixed traveling to the Dig Site during the Dino Dig mini-event preventing crop/weed helps on friends' ranches.

Coppers of the Creature Collector

The eccentric Creature Collector has returned to the Commons, this time with a trio of skelepony pets!



Head to the event area and choose one to train. You have until noon on Wednesday October 19th to complete the collector's four daily quests, level up your chosen creature, earn Creature Coppers to spend in their store, and get another page to your Creature Collector's Compendium!

The Compendium Page will be given after the event ends. If you don't have the Creature Collector's Compendium ranch item, you'll get it when you get your first page.

After the event, the collector will be taking their creature back unless you adopt it by purchasing its corresponding mount pack, available starting Monday October 17th.

Train hard, Bush Whackers!

The training quests unlock at noon on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Those busy on the weekends can still catch up!

Notes
- The VIP "Quest Reset" power does not reset these mini event quests, and they are not affected by the Time Turner and Timey Whimey Watch.
- These three pets earn double the experience compared to other pets for the duration of this mini-event!

Ye Olde Creature Collector's Galleria - Pets

When you speak to Tanela Tiva in the event area, you can select the "What past pets are for sale?" chat option.

This will open a new store, which will contain 3 non-event premium pets you have never owned! They cost Bush Bucks, like in event stores. The selection will change next time Tanela Tiva visits to event area.

We've done this in response to players asking to see old premium pets they've missed out on, to help you fill out your pet collection. Snag those old-school pets you're missing out on!

Creature Collector - Skelepony Pets! (October 14th, 2022)

- Rerunning Coppers of the Creature Collector mini event with 3 new pets and custom items
- Increased collector pet 100% goal from 10 to 12

- Alzheimer's charity drive running from October 12th to 19th

A Garden For Butterflies

The butterflies are out there somewhere, and this weekend's visitor is looking to attract them to the event area! This is their fifth visit, so complete their tasks and get another one of their butterfly companions!

Updates

There are two new butterflies to collect this year via Rare Flowers! This makes for a total of 7 companion options if you can attract them all to the event area in time.

Plus, if you've missed any of the past runs of this quest, or cannot wait for another butterfly companion, you can spend 150 Bush Bucks to unlock the choice of another, including the other quest rewards! You can only do this till you have 6 of these butterflies.

This quest will run for a day longer than it has in the past, to give folks more time to collect Rare Flowers and unlock more species.

Butterfly Gardening

Head to the event area in the Commons to get started. Attract different species to the event area in two ways:
1 - Help Harrow in the event area with her quests, unlocking at Noon PST (UTC-8) on Saturday and Sunday. There are 2 species to unlock this way.
2 - Collect Rare Flowers! You can do this after completing Harrow's first quest, available on Friday. There are 5 species to unlock this way, which will be much more challenging to get!

At the end of this colourful quest, you'll get to choose a butterfly companion from the different species you attract.

You have until noon on Tuesday October 11th to attract as many as you can, and you'll have until noon on Wednesday October 12th to choose one as a companion. Good luck!

Amass a Fortune with the Lion King Cats

While you're there, don't forget to check out the new Lion King Cat pet! The more there are, the higher the max level bonus is for everyone who has one! It's only available until Wednesday October 12th, so grab one and help everyone get the most powerful pet while you can! Talk to the lion maned visitor in the event area for updates on the bonus.

Butterfly Garden Limited Time Quest (October 7th, 2022)

- Re-running the Butterfly Garden limited time quest
- Added two new butterflies to collect via Rare Flowers
- Can choose an additional butterfly for Bush Bucks
- Will run a day longer than it has in the past

- Selling a new Lion King Cat pet whose bonus increases the more Lion King Cats are bought during this weekend

- Fixed incorrect bush costs in The Dead Pools, The Old Caravan Route, The Salt Palace Grounds, The Fractal Forest, The Lustrous Lake, and The Crystalline Cavity

- Fixed prismatic special bushes appearing in other fields after they've spawned

Halloween Event 2021 Update (October 22nd, 2021)

- Can now prevent/allow friends from visiting your haunted mansion and spring gardens by talking to the contest NPC and selecting the corresponding chat option
- Added a “vote X times” achievement
- Added trick-or-treater to Prismatic Passage
- Changed normal event quester’s satchel threshold from 28 to 56 for event stores before they become Common Quester’s Satchels, which contain no Epic satchel drops and have a reduced chance of Rare satchel drops. The satchel store item will change its name so it’s obvious.
- Fixed haunted house item owned counts not showing on haunted mansion store item tooltips
- Can now choose which animatronic mansion items you want to build in any order after building the staffable ones. That’s the Werewolf Duty, Hydra Duty, Imp Duty, and Cerberus Duty quests.
- Can reset the cooldown on the trick-or-treaters for 350 Pumpkins or 12 Bush Bucks if they’re all on cooldown and you have 100% or more completion of the event, by talking to the first trick-or-treater on the left and choosing the “Hurry it up!” chat option.

- Fixed owned counts for pets and mounts and other items not showing on store item tooltips in certain stores (like for hubs)

- Added surface to Rocksmasher Stone Chest ranch item

- Fixed the energy bar updating strangely when quick whacking energy
