Thanksgiving Time!

The residents of The Commons are preparing for a massive feast to celebrate the end of harvest season, and of course they need your expertise at finding things in bushes!

First and foremost, it's all about helping the chefs fill their food stations to the brim - and beyond. There's three of them for three types of meals, so you'll be collecting Meat, Veggies and of course Deserts to feed the hungry masses of Bushwhackia! Can you make all the Pristine Food? Keep doing turn-ins to achieve it!

On the subject of food - four of the guests have promised they would bring a dish to share, but they've forgotten ingredients.

And then, there's the problem of the Turkeys. Apparently, they need to be rescued in some fashion, so you'll need to get on that. You have the whole event to complete it.

Once again we're celebrating other harvest festivals around the world and hosting an inflatable surprise. They'll unlock as the event goes on. And tune in on Thanksgiving (or after, if you're enjoying your day off), for a fun show!

Of course, it wouldn't be Thanksgiving without the Black Friday questline introduced last year, and a fridge to store all those leftovers!

We've added one new quest line this year. Nate is up to something. Help him out once his quest begins.

Plus we've updated the goals required for the ribbons and 100% award, since there are so many quests that award event progress, and added some new quests to the Other Harvest Festivals quest line!

The party descends into an infamous crypt filled with the tombs of local heroes to pay homage to their deeds during the Feast of the Moon. Unfortunately, the dead are restless, rising from their slumber as undead and gathering deep in the crypt for some unknown nefarious purpose...

Fight your way through the risen heroes of yore as your party descends into the dark depths of The Crypt of Legends. Seek out whatever is responsible for this undead uprising, and put an end to it for good!

Idle Champions' latest event, Feast of the Moon, is a celebration honoring the deeds of the fallen heroes of Faerûn. This limited-time adventure runs from today until Noon PST on Tuesday, November 28th 2017, and introduces Gromma, the Tortle Druid.

New Champion: Gromma Nander

A wise Tortle matriarch, Gromma Nander is an elderly Circle of the Land Druid with nearly one hundred grandchildren. She has picked up many skills over her long life, and is able to fulfill DPS, support, or tanking roles in a formation. No matter her specialization, Gromma has a particular grandmotherly fondness for young members of any race, and will empower members of her party, with the youngest receiving the greatest boost.

When you want to add Gromma to your party, you can swap her with Nayeli.

Feast of the Moon Variants

• Respectful Restraint — Ultimate Attacks can not be used and any attacks with a cooldown of 5 seconds or less have an additional 3 second cooldown (so a 4 second cooldown becomes 7 seconds, but a 6 second cooldown stays at 6 seconds). These lengthened attacks don't do any additional damage due to their longer cooldown.


• The Relentless Undead — Undead monsters have 2x as much health as normal and, when they take a killing blow, they are stunned for 10 seconds before coming back to life (they still drop gold and quest items and count towards the quest each time they are killed).


• A Grand Nandventure — Gromma Nander is forced to be in your formation. She starts at level 1 in your formation right away alongside Bruenor. She cannot be removed from the formation or swapped out of her seat. She has a 4x damage boost and her normal attack cooldown is reduced by 2 seconds.

Features:

• Added the Feast of the Moon event, our third limited-time campaign event! The event will run until Tuesday, November 28th at noon PST.
• Added a new Champion: Gromma, the Tortle Druid.
• Added a new event Divine Favor: Jergal's Favor.

It's time for another tier 3 event, Crusaders! Kaine's Dinner of Doom is back with a vengeance, and this year you can unlock Chef Casey, a support Crusader with a randomized pot of tasty buffing stew! Also included are four other challenging new objectives, and all the other fun that tier 3 events updates bring! Enjoy!

New Tier 3 Crusader: Chef Casey

Chef Casey is a very enthusiastic chef....but don't ask her what her stew is really made of.

At level 50, you unlock her Stew ability, where Chef Casey will randomly add one of 2 veggies to her cauldron, Carrots which add Global DPS or Potatoes which add Gold find!

At level 300, you unlock her Carnivore upgrade, which adds a choice of 2 meats to Casey's Stew line-up.

At level 600, you can help Casey finish off her stew by buying the Spice it Up upgrade, which adds 2 spices to her ingredient line-up.

Crusaders Return

If you haven't collected them already, you can unlock our Tier One Crusaders Mama Kaine and RoboTurkey by completing the respective Tier One objectives. Then, you can collect the Tier Two Crusaders, Paul the Pilgrim, and Petra the Pilgrim by completing the first two Tier Two objectives!

Five New Tier 3 Objectives!

• Recruit Chef Casey | Chef Casey and her Stew Pot take up 2 slots. Bits of food pop out of her stew pot every 5 seconds and hit a random Crusader. That Crusader's DPS and FAs are disabled for 15 seconds. Reach area 500.


• Get Stuffed | Food enemies attack the formation. When they are killed, a random Crusader eats them. Upon eating enough food, the Crusader becomes stuffed and has their DPS and FAs disabled. Changing areas clears all debuffs. Reach area 600.


• Exclusive Dinner Club | Only the Bush Whacker, Thanksgiving Crusaders (RoboTurkey, Momma Kaine, Paul and Petra, and Chef Casey), and Nate Dragon can be used. Reach area 650.


• I Like Pie | A pumpkin pie takes up a slot in the formation. Every 100 levels, another pie is added. Mmm... pie. Reach area 700.


• Turkey Worship | A turkey takes up slot 9 in the formation and crusaders in the six slots around it rotate clockwise every 10 seconds. Reach area 750.

Help! Where’s the Loot?

Equipment for event Crusaders can be found in Thanksgiving Silver and Jeweled Chests, which you can earn from objectives and the free play or buy in the shop. Each non-recruitment objective will drop a chest for its given tier of Crusaders and free play will drop all-tier chests. Gear for the Tier 2 and 3 Crusaders will only appear in all-tier chests once you've unlocked the respective Crusader. You can select the tier of chest you buy in the shop.

You'll have until Tuesday, November 28th at Noon PST to complete Kaine's Dinner of Doom this year!

The Idols Through Time campaign has some new objectives. Perhaps these buffs will help you smash through them!

New Tier 3 Objectives!

Don't Blink

• Sobbing Cherubs spawn and move very slowly towards your formation
• They can only be killed by clicking
• If they reach your formation, you wipe and go back one area
• Tier 2: The Cherubs move slightly faster than in the base objective
• Tier 3: Each spawned Cherub reduces the DPS of all Crusaders by 50% (multiplicative)
• Reach Area 700

Lost in Time

• Slots are blocked by relics from each era visited during the campaign
• Tier 2: Each relic reduces the DPS of adjacent Crusaders by 50% (stacking multiplicatively)
• Tier 3: Each relic reduces your gold find by 50% per adjacent Crusaders (stacking multiplicatively)
• Reach Area 750

Time-Lost Bosses

• Your formation is randomly attacked by much more powerful bosses
• Tier 2: The bosses make all other enemies immune to damage until they are killed
• Tier 3: When a boss is killed it disables the DPS and FAs of a random Crusader for 15 seconds
• Reach area 800

Nostalgia Trip

• Only the original 20 Crusaders are available (no event or 11th objective crusaders)
• Tier 3: Only female Crusaders may be used
• Reach Area 800

Echoes

• Echoes of your Crusaders randomly spawn
• Echoes cannot be killed for 30 seconds; after all, they're only echoes
• Tier 2: Each echo reduces the DPS of a random Crusader by 50% until it's killed (stacking multiplicatively)
• Tier 3: A random echo (a useless escort that looks like one of your Crusaders) will be added to your formation every 100 areas
• Reach Area 800

Hamstrung

• Crusaders with the 'dps' or 'human' tag cannot be used
• Tier 2: Crusaders with the 'gold' tag cannot be used
• Tier 3: The 'Reset The World' upgrade has been moved to Merci, the Mad Wizard
• Reach Area 800

• An asteroid occasionally squashes one of your Crusaders at random

• Your Crusaders take 2% of their Max HP as damage every second
• Health is restored by healing or changing areas
• Tier 2: A creature takes up a slot in your formation
• Tier 3: Gold find reduced by 2% per second, and is restored by changing areas (tier 2)
• Tier 3: The damage and gold reduction is increased to 3% per second
• Reach Area 900

Nate’s High Jungle Dive (November 8th, 2017)

- Nate's High Jungle Dive:

- Requires that you have completed the Nate Spine of the World Adventure and have completed the first tier of the third field in the Plateau Lakes.
- Starts from the Town Crier in the Commons.
- Eight Quests
- The main quest line rewards the player with a new pet, ranch item, and an achievement (no achievement reward or title).

- Added missing achievements for the Nate Adventures since Nate’s Cloudland Adventure, which will retroactively credit once you complete this latest one.

- Added a Tom Petty Limited time tribute quest (November 6th - 8th)

- No longer hover or have extra shadow when riding a mount underwater

- Shifted the Magic Carpet Mount up a little bit so you’re more appropriately hovering

- Fixed Burl in Sanctuary Village not giving you “A Gift of Love” when you’re dating him, and giving it when you’re dating Faun.

- Fixed various reported typos and quest descriptions. Keep the reports coming!

Today Champions can take their next steps into the Tomb of Annihilation, with additional Champion upgrades and two new variants for the first two adventures, Ring of Regeneration: The Death Curse and Seeking Allies: Premature Betrayal.

New Variants!

• The Ring of Regeneration: The Death Curse — Each time a Champion is killed, they have their damage reduced by 25% permanently for the rest of the adventure (stacks multiplicatively).


• Seeking Allies: Premature Betrayal — Red Wizards of Thay attack your formation in all areas. There are several different variations, each with their own special properties, including increased health, increased speed, and debuffs on attacked champions.

New Champion Upgrades & Balance Changes!

• The Party Grows Stronger — All champions have had additional high-level upgrades added. This should provide approximately 20 areas of progression to players with enough favor to access the new upgrades.


• It's Not About Makos — Makos' level 55 upgrade no longer requires a specific specialization but now increases his DPS by 100% instead of 200%.


• Too Much Ki — Stoki's level 235 upgrade which adds an extra attack target if you choose the Ki Strike specialization has been removed.

Changes:

• When Upg is toggled, or alt+shift is pressed, and a champion is locked, it unlocks the champions before purchasing their first upgrade.
• Updated the description of Jamilah's Frenzy ability to be more clear.
• The formation arrows from Hitch's Friendly ability now only point to those it is affecting.
