The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (HSFC) supports Canadian research, works closely with the American Heart Association and the World Heart Federation on an international level. Heart disease and strokes affect many people and the research that HSFC supports helps reduce the risk of it happening and aids in getting people who suffer from it cured.

Summer Carnival Event 2015

The Carnival has returned to town! Get ready to play some games, help some Bushwhackian residents and win carnival tokens which you can exchange for cool prizes at the Carnival Event Vendor!

The Carnival Games:

A staple of any summer carnival or fair, are those devilish carnival games. There are four different games which will unlock over the course of the event and they include "Balloon Popper," "Whack-A-Mole," "Baseball Throw," and "Duck Shoot." Don't worry, there's no skill involved with these games, you play them automatically when you interact with them.

- It costs 4 carnival tickets to play each game, and you can whack those tickets out of the bushes, or purchase them from Timmy in the Event area for Bush Bucks (30 Salvaged Tickets for 30 Bush Bucks)

- You receive Carnival Tokens based on how well you do. Now, we're not saying they're rigged in the Carnival's favour or anything, but you'll definitely want to ask your friends to help you rig these games in your favour! (Platforms without Friend functionality are balanced accordingly.)

To get started, the Balloon Popper game is unlocked! As well, it seems William needs your help to satisfy his sweet-tooth!

• When will the last quest unlock?
  All quests will be unlocked by the 11th day of the event.


• Where can I see my achievements and their progress?
  Click on the inventory icon and then click on the Achievements list (gold star). Look for the ones listed above in that list.


• Where can I buy Last Year's items?
  There are two vendors. The one in the tent has this year's items. The other is the one with the party hat and will have all previous year items for Bush Bucks.


• What contributes to my 100% progress?
  You need 200 plays of any combo of the games to get 100%. Just whack up tickets and turn in quests to get tickets as well.
  


• Why do I want to ask friends for help?
  It helps you rig the game and improve your chances of getting 8 tokens.


• Do I have to do the achievements?
  No. Completing the goals for the achievements is totally optional. You get either a large energy pack or a title for your character from them, no event progress.


• Where can I see all the achievements available and how to get them?
  Either on the holiday dialog, the achievements dialog, or on the blog.

It's Election time in the Commons!

If you've built Natalie's House and participated in Sasha's House party, talk to the Town Crier to initiate the questline! It seems you've been nominated as a candidate for mayor! Campaign your heart out to residents of the Commons in order to compete with your fellow nominees! Will your Bush Whacker survive the drama and come out on top? Whack bushes and find out!

If you win the election, you'll unlock a new set of daily quests from the Town Hall. These quests will run exclusively to the General Store ones, just like the Skyscraper/Inn daily quests.

Have we got some exciting changes for you today!

Summer Season at the Theatre!

The Outdoor Theatre is now presenting FOUR all-new plays based on popular summer films! Check them out starting today! Plus, there are a couple new achievements related to this change! But watch them before they're gone! The plays will be viewable until September 30 at 11:59 PM PDT, when the summer season ends!

Going forward, the Summer Season will run from June 1st through September 30th every year!

Mount Updates!

Number 1: now you can rename your mounts! Talk to Clint in the Commons to change the name of your currently equipped mount.

Number 2: A dozen new achievements and five new titles relating to mounts!

Number 3: Mounts will only have EIGHT bonuses including the starting buffs.

What does this mean?

New mounts:
Your mount will have the Speed Bonus, its random 5% starting buff, and once it has 6 other random buffs, the starting buff and those 6 will be the ones that will level up with each new level.

Old Mounts:
For all those mounts you currently have more than 8 buffs on, the lowest magnitude buffs will be randomly removed and their bonuses distributed among the buffs that can level up until the mount only has 8 buffs.

As well, your potential next level up bonuses may change based on your new buffs because next level buffs will only include existing buffs.

Note: Because of this change, using Pristine Feed for a buff that isn't one of your 7 may waste that feed.

PAGAs Rewards for Over 100 Pets!

There a lot of pets in the game, so we've added more rewards to PAGAs for unique pets.

120 Pets: Get Unique DNA x4!!!
140 Pets: The Cloud Bird pet from Cloudland!!!
160 Pets: A Pet Controller Trinket!!!**
180 Pets: Unique DNA x5!!!
200 Pets: Level 40 Pet Treat x 5!!!

**The Pet Controller trinket turns you into your pet when you equip it! Become a Canada Goose riding an Eagle! Or a Robot on an Elephant! Or just your favourite pet ever going around whacking bushes!

...An issue where the Kaine Underwater booty in the Detective Agency did not have the proper tool-tip. Players who previously completed this adventure may need to enter the agency a couple of times to cause it to reappear.
...The globe from the Kaine Agrabush mystery is no longer visible in the Detective Agency as soon as it's built. Players who have completed the adventure will have it reappear the next time they enter the agency.
...A typo in a quest from the Nate's Birthday event (better late than never!)
...A "tattoo" typo in an Agrabush zone 3 quest NPC's dialog.
...A "versatile" typo in Clint's dialog.
...A typo in a Summer Sports event NPC's dialog (better late than never!)
...A typo in Gilmore's dialog.
...An issue preventing the rare Green and Yellow colors from being used in your Fireworks Launcher.
