Chat Options & Launcher Version 1.2 (December 19th, 2020)

- Chat options now available on the Desktop Launcher chat sidebar! (no launcher update required). Allows you to:
- Change between black or white colour schemes (white matches the web version).
- Choose between 3 text font sizes: 12, 14, and 16

- Desktop Launcher v1.2 changes:
- Will now properly update your BW2 game time played on your CNE Games profile.
- Email text field is focused automatically if Remember Me is not toggled.
- Can press Enter to log in without having the password text field in focus.

- Fixed various reported typos and quest descriptions. Keep the reports coming!

Christmas Event! (December 11th, 2020)

'Tis the Season for Giving!

Get into the giving mood of the holiday season by tackling the Bushwhackia Christmas event.

You'll want to get started by heading to the event area in the Commons to meet up with the stranded elf and help him fix his teleporter. (It's delicate, OK?) Once you've got it operational, you'll be able to make the journey far to the North Pole where you'll find a bevy of characters who need your special skills to make the holiday celebrations work!

Your primary task will be helping the elves make presents by bringing them Candy Canes (that you find in bushes), but there is a veritable smorgasbord of holiday related quests to complete as well. All of these quests will unlock over the course of the event, with the last ones unlocking on Christmas Day.

Once you've found reindeer chow for the poor reindeer, then you can help out Santa by delivering a present to a random house daily.

New for 2020

This year's update includes: a new Christmas tree for your ranch received from completing the Decorate Tree quest; a new Snowman companion from the Build a Snowman quest; another custom item for ice fishing; a new dress-up achievement; a new item to steal; and more!

Here's the event that started the gifting tradition! Once a day, if you have excess tokens, you can send a Present to a friend! These presents will contain a random amount of gold, energy, mana, power and come with some other treats as well. If you want to send more presents in a day, it will cost you a few Bush Bucks. Generation 13 Pets! (December 9th, 2020)

- 10 new pets are now in rotation for Misty’s pet raising quests!
- Added 9 new unique variations of the gen 13 pets to the PAGAS egg store.
- Added a PAGAS Pet Progress reward tiers for 700 and 750 unique pets.

- Can now trade DOWN your rarer DNAs by talking to Vincent as choose the ‘I'd like to trade my DNA’ then ‘I'd like to trade DOWN my DNA’ chat options.

- All stores have been improved to show how many of a pet or mount you've owned or the amount of the inventory or ranch item you have when you mouse over the store item image!

- Fixed trinket set buttons in your Inventory not updating to show you’ve equipped one when using the hotkeys.

- Fixed your mount not facing downwards when you equip a trinket set.

- Fixed not being able to re-equip the last trinket set you equipped after changing your trinkets.

- Changed trinket set hotkeys from Q,W,E,R,T to 1,2,3,4,5 to better map to the numbers on the buttons themselves, and prevent accidental switching when mis-clicking the chat sidebar.

- Fixed longer set bonus lists going off the screen when viewing them in your inventory. They are now split into multiple columns if they have more than 10 bonuses.

- Enlarged trinket set slot preview images.

- On the Desktop Launcher, added an exclamation mark on the Options (the gear) menu buttons that shows when you have active tickets. Red for waiting for response, Green for unread responses.

- Added a more descriptive error message for some errors previously just described as “invalid parameters”. This will hopefully help with debugging a timestamp error that might be happening rarely when using the Desktop Launcher.

- Fixed various reported typos and quest descriptions. Keep the reports coming!

Gotta find 'em all!

A new selection of critters are now available to be your companions!

Those weirdly random abandoned eggs scattered all over Bushwhackia have been switched up and all new pets are ready to hatch when you accept the "Find an Egg" quest from Misty. She will also have all the Generation 12 eggs available to purchase for Bush Bucks during the "Find an Egg" quest.

Other changes to Misty and Hank for Generation 13:

• Misty will no longer let players abandon Gen 12 pet eggs that they are hatching (they're now too rare). Only current generation pet eggs can be abandoned during hatching. Please note that if you're in the middle of hatching a pet, then that egg will still hatch into whatever pet it would have been before.


• Generation 12 pet eggs can now be found in Quester's Satchels (with the same limitations as the Generation 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 eggs, which will still be available in satchels as well.)


• Hank now sells a random assortment of hatched level 1 Generation 13 pets (instead of Generation 12) for Bush Bucks in his pet store.

PAGAS changes for Generation 13:

• Generation 13 pet eggs are available to buy with DNA in the PAGAS store, once you have hatched at least five Generation 13 pets. This include 9 unique variations of the new pets.


• The Pet Progress dialog now includes Generation 13 pets. Another 19 new pets that all players can unlock!


• There are new PAGAS Pet Progress reward tiers for 700 and 750 unique pets for those avid collectors! A new unique pet named Cort, and 10 more Unique DNA, respectively.


• You can now also trade down your rarer DNAs by talking to Vincent as choose the ‘I'd like to trade my DNA’ then ‘I'd like to trade DOWN my DNA’ chat options.

Store Improvement:

In addition to these new pets, all stores have been improved to show how many of a pet or mount you've owned or the amount of the inventory or ranch item you have when you mouse over the store item image!

Creature Collector - Reindeer! (December 4th, 2020)

- Rerunning Coppers of the Creature Collector mini event with 3 new pets.
- Changed the Coppers of the Creature Collector mini event quests to unlock at noon instead of 20 hours after the last. So the second quest unlocks at 12 PM Saturday, the third at 12 PM Sunday, and the 4th at 12 PM Monday.
- Fixed pet levels not counting when you’re ready to turn in the Proliferating Potential quest.
- Creature Collector’s Cache store now has “Misc” and “Customization” tabs.

- Gems dropped from the Energem trinket of Moonstone rarity and above now have a popup, like gems dropped from bushes. (As of Dec 2nd)

- The odds of the Energem trinket dropping a Gem are reduced when you whack bushes below your level. For example, at level 100 you'll find less Energem Gems whacking bushes that cost 1 energy than you would whacking bushes that cost 10+ energy. The lower the level, the worse the odds are. (As of Dec 2nd)

- Added a more aggressive End of Flash notice above the game on web, prompting usage of the Desktop Launcher. We just want you to be prepared <3 (As of Dec 2nd)

- Added a Town Crier quest to start the trinket sets unlock quest chain so it’s more obvious. (As of Nov 27th)

- Generation 13 Pets coming soon!

Coppers of the Creature Collector

The eccentric Creature Collector has returned to the Commons, this time with a trio of Reindeer!



Head to the event area and choose one to train. You have until noon on Wednesday December 9th to complete the collector's four daily quests, level up your chosen creature, earn Creature Coppers to spend in their store, and get another page to your Creature Collector's Compendium!

The Compendium Page will be given after the event ends. If you don't have the Creature Collector's Compendium ranch item, you'll get it when you get your first page.

After the event, the collector will be taking their creature back unless you adopt it by purchasing its corresponding pet pack, available starting Monday December 7th.

Train hard, Bush Whackers!

Update: The training quests now unlock at noon on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, instead of 20 hours after the last one is completed. Those busy on the weekends can still catch up!

Note: The VIP "Quest Reset" power does not reset these mini event quests, and they are not affected by the Time Turner and Timey Whimey Watch.

Ye Olde Creature Collector's Galleria - Pets

When you speak to Tanela Tiva in the event area, you can select the "What past pets are for sale?" chat option.

This will open a new store, which will contain 3 non-event premium pets you have never owned! They cost Bush Bucks, like in event stores. The selection will change next time Tanela Tiva visits to event area.

We've done this in response to players asking to see old premium pets they've missed out on, to help you fill out your pet collection. Snag those old-school pets you're missing out on!
