Lake Island Rezoning Application (April 29th, 2019)

- Added the Lake Island Rezoning Application community quest, which allows plays to buy and expand a new ranch area once completed.

- Your pet is now hidden when you enter build mode

Have you dreamed of having another piece of property to decorate? Well now you can make it a reality!

You and all your fellow players can now work together to help Celine submit a rezoning application for the lake islands, enabling you each to buy your own private island!

Once the rezoning is complete, if you are at least level 250, have fully upgraded your house, and have built all the buildings in the Commons, including the fourth floor of the skyscraper, you can purchase the Lake Island property, which you can expand and decorate like your ranch! You can even build a Cottage on it!

After you've bought your own Lake Island, Jim will help you build a boat to get there! Note that this boat will appear in the water near the upper right corner of your ranch. You'll have to make sure there aren't any items on your ranch blocking your view of it!

Three days after you've bought your island and have a boat to get there, Jim will offer to help you build a Cottage on the island. You must be level 290 to build the Lake Island Cottage.

Rezoning the lake islands is a cooperative quest, so everyone's contributions will count towards getting it done. Talk with Celine in the Town Hall to get started.

To contribute, you can complete the following quests:
- Special Document Paper (20 hour cooldown)
- Scrounging More Paper (Cannot accept during Special Document Paper quest. No cooldown)

Complete these quests until you reach your platform's goal!

Anniversary Celebration and Friendly Fixes (April 18th, 2019)

- 7th Anniversary Celebration is happening in the outdoor theater area of the Commons from April 17th to noon PST April 19th

- You can now see who helped a crop if you click it and mouse over the “helps” bar

- Fixed being able to bug people to play who have played recently, which should remove the “help stem the tide…” requests people are seeing when they play regularly

- Now show a popup saying "You already have the max number of friends, and cannot add any more!" when you open the request dialog via clicking to invite friends, if you have the max number of friends. This should reduce some invite spam players are seeing.

- Changed the type of the Balloon Kitty from “misc” to “premium”

- Fixed being able to remove a mount's base bonus when you remove levels of the same bonus (April 15th)

- Fixed various reported typos and quest descriptions. Keep the reports coming!

As some of you may know, April 18th marks the day BW2 was first released.

We sometimes run a full Anniversary event, but this year, as with other years where Easter doesn't come early, we're dialing the party back to a small developer celebration in the Commons where the Theater currently stands.

Much like the 5th anniversary, you'll be able to get cake, buy items from past anniversary celebrations from Nick, and complete Georgia's quest to get 2 new developer gnomes.

The celebration will start at 9 AM (PDT) on Wednesday April 17th and end at noon (PDT) on Friday April 19th. Don't miss out!

Easter Event (April 12th, 2019)

Spring Sale & Optimizations (April 5th, 2019)

- The Spring pet & mount sale is running from April 5th to Wednesday April 10th, with new pets going on sale each day.

- Removed a lag spike often happening after you pick an item from your inventory to place.

- Made speed/memory optimizations on the back-end regarding ranch items, in preparation for adding more ranch space.

- Expired pets no longer count towards your unique pet count, or to having owned them.

- Made light and dark hovels in the Caustic Crag more differentiable, by making the roof thatch of the light hovels lighter.

- Clarified the quest description of the “Teotl's Return!” quest, so it’s clear what you must do after you’ve waited a few days.

- Changed the name of the store which you buy Dirt Plots from, from “Ye Olde General Store” to “Ye Farmer's Market”.
