Founders' Day is noted on city calendars as the first day of Flamerule and commemorates the Free City of Waterdeep's founding. The Field of Triumph is the site of illusory shows of the history of the city as well as martial exhibitions by the guard and other noted warriors of the city. The Champions have joined in the celebration, but the Archduke Zariel of Avernus has set a plan in motion to harvest souls for the Blood War during the festivities!

Will our Champions be able to stop her in time?

Founders' Day 5 introduces Nahara, the aasimar warlock/bard from The Black Dice Society, and brings back Sergeant Knox, the human fighter from Neverwinter, and Freely, the lucky halfling from Heroes of the Planes! Players have until Monday, July 11th at 12PM PDT to complete their event unlocks and objectives.

I. New Champion: Nahara

When she fell into the mists of Ravenloft, Nahara was unable to remember anything from her life, or previous lives. All she knows is she's caught in the conflict between her current Patron, Azalin Rex, and his foe Strahd von Zarovich, who has been desperately seeking her out.

Nahara is a DPS and Speed Champion who permanently grows more powerful as she recovers her lost memories by completing areas and quickly dispatching enemies. When you want to add her to your formation you can swap her with Nayeli in slot 3. She joins her friends from the Black Dice Society during this Founders' Day, and you can find more details about her in her Champion Spotlight.

Year Five Variants

• Durable Devils - Save Waterdeep from the chaos of a Founders' Day gone awry while Nahara practices her targeting on some armored imps that have shown up!
  Reach Area 75.


• Double Trouble - The Founders' Day chaos continues, but this time Nahara will help you speed through increased area requirements.
  Reach Area 125.


• Barovian Bliss - Strahd has joined in the Founders' Day chaos, attacking Nahara and her Black Dice Society friends through the thick fog!

Unearthing Fossils

A deposit of dinosaur fossils has been found in Bushwhackia! A dig team has set up in the Commons and will fly you to the dig site by helicopter.

Teach Me How To Diggy

Complete Anning's introductory quests. These will teach you the basics of digging up fossils in the Dino Dig!

The Dino Dig includes a special dig site where you unearth the fossils via a unique hot-and-cold style mini game!

Upgrade to Dig Deeper

Anning has an array of upgrades in her "Ye Excavaction Emporium"! Invest in these to making digging easier and speed up your fossil excavation!

Get a Clue

Whack up Fossil Clues from bushes all over then use them at the dig site to find Fossils! Turn in your Fossils for unique rewards available during this event only!

Digging the Threads

There are 3 ranch items and 3 costume items to buy in "Ye Dino Dig Depositorum". Plus, clear out their stock of Dig Satchels, containing DNA, Pet Treats, and Mount Bucks!

And if you're able to turn in enough fossils, you'll earn an energy increasing Dino Dig Ribbon!

Community Collection

Work together with your fellow Bush Whackers to turn in enough fossils to earn the special community reward!

If you all manage to achieve the target fossil value by noon on July 5th, everyone will get 1 Unique DNA and a Dino Haunch, which restores 100% max energy!

Dino Mount

Stalk the jungle on a new Utahraptor mount! Get it with select purchases of Bush Bucks during the start of the mini event!

Cretaceous Companions

Add any of three new dino companion to your collection! They are the Stegosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, and Liopleurodon! Each available in its own Pet Pack bundle later on in the event.

Get Down to Earth

This event ends at noon on July 6th, Pacific Time!

Coppers of the Creature Collector

The eccentric Creature Collector has returned to the Commons, this time with a trio of bee mounts!



Head to the event area and choose one to train. You have until noon on Wednesday June 29th to complete the collector's four daily quests, level up your chosen creature, earn Creature Coppers to spend in their store, and get another page to your Creature Collector's Compendium!

The Compendium Page will be given after the event ends. If you don't have the Creature Collector's Compendium ranch item, you'll get it when you get your first page.

After the event, the collector will be taking their creature back unless you adopt it by purchasing its corresponding mount pack, available starting Monday June 27th.

Train hard, Bush Whackers!

The training quests unlock at noon on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Those busy on the weekends can still catch up!

Notes
- The VIP "Quest Reset" power does not reset these mini event quests, and they are not affected by the Time Turner and Timey Whimey Watch.
- Swapping your event mount with a higher level mount doesn't count towards event progress.
- These three mounts earn double the experience compared to other mounts for the duration of this mini-event!
- Expiring mounts cannot have their bonuses swapped.

Ye Olde Creature Collector's Galleria - Mounts

When you speak to Tanela Tiva in the event area, you can select the "What past mounts are for sale?" chat option.

This will open a new store, which will contain 3 non-event premium mounts you have never owned! They cost Bush Bucks, like in event stores. The selection will change next time Tanela Tiva visits to event area.

We've done this in response to players asking to see old premium mounts they've missed out on, to help you fill out your pet collection. Snag those old-school mounts you're missing out on!

Summer Sport Fun in the Sun

It's time to help the Bushwhackia Pee-Wee league coaches! They need supplies to help whip their various teams into shape and take home the AAA championship trophies! Whack them up in the bushes, starting with soccer balls and water bottles! Plus, the first coach needs some Jerseys!

Quests

Claire, the clerk from the Town Hall, needs your help to discover information about a local sports Legend! The stages of this quest will unlock throughout the event. If you completed this quest last year or the year before, different quests will replace the original ones, sending you out in the world to find more sporting memorabilia.

It's not just about supplies to keep the kids going: the parents and coaches have quests for you to embark on as well! Look for those interspersed with Claire's quest!

Plus there are Gnomes! Gnomes everywhere! Make a custom sports gnome for your ranch! You can make a Codename Entertainment logo jersey for your avatar to wear! And later on in the event, find some noisemakers to help cheer on those kiddies!

Also, one of the soccer parents needs help reclaiming a whack-ton of special soccer balls from all over Bushwhackia, and Gilmore the golfer has a quest asking you to play a round of mini golf on anyone's course!

If you can complete the event with 100%, you'll earn the Sports Flower Box!



Plus, there are new year 9 AAA trophies to collect! They become available after you've bought all the store items and helped the corresponding teams play a AAA game, and are available for Sports Tokens. The old trophies can be bought from the prior store for Bush Bucks.

At the mouth of the River Mirar in the northwest of the Sword Coast lies the port city of Luskan, also known as the City of Sails. Officially governed by the five High Captains, Luskan is actually secretly run by Jarlaxle Baenre and the Bregan D'aerthe.

And they need your help.

While celebrating the Summer Solstice with a smaller scale version of Waterdeep's Dragondown festival, Luskan has managed to draw the attention - and the wrath - of a Bronze Dragon and their kin...

Dragondown 5 introduces Merilwen, the Wood Elf Ranger from Oxventurers Guild, and brings back Selise Astorio, Human Paladin of the Rivals of Waterdeep, and Nova, the knowledge-hungry Genasi Warlock from High Rollers: Aerois. Players have until Monday, June 20th at 12PM Pacific to complete their Dragondown 5 unlocks and objectives.

I. Merilwen

Merilwen is at home in nature, happy to speak with animals or plants at the first opportunity. She's always ready to pull out her trusty bow, or turn into a cat, to get out of many tough situations. With a fierce loyalty to her friends, and to nature itself, she'll call upon the moon to deal with anyone who gets on her bad side. And if you're really unlucky, you might stumble into Merilwen's Meatgrinder. Spoilers: it's a very bad time.

Merilwen is a Support and Gold Find Champion who increases the damage of all Neutral Champions, and when she transforms into a cat, she increases the attack rate of adjacent Champions. Her gold find and ultimate are both improved when she is combined with other members of the Oxventurers affiliation. She can be added to the formation by swapping her out with Celeste (Slot 2).

Year Five Variants

• A Neutral Position - Merilwen starts in the formation and can be moved, but not removed. Only Neutral Champions (on the Good/Evil axis) can deal damage.
  Getting to Know Merilwen: Merilwen increases the damage of Neutral champions. Use a Neutral DPS Champion to make the most of this!
  • Reach Area 75.

• Cat Nap - Merilwen starts in the formation and can be moved, but not removed. Champions' normal attack cooldowns are increased by 3 seconds. Merilwen's Wild Shape ability starts out unlocked and has a +300% bonus to attack speed cooldowns.
  Getting to Know Merilwen: Merilwen's cat form makes nearby Champions attack faster. Use this to your advantage!
  • Reach Area 125.

• Loyal Friends - Merilwen starts in the formation and can be moved, but not removed. Her Ultimate starts unlocked and its cooldown takes half as long. Only Champions with an Affiliation can be used, and Oxventurers Guild Champions do 400% more damage.
  Getting to Know Merilwen: Merilwen's ultimate grows stronger with other Oxventurers Guild Champions. Try it out if you have already unlocked some of them
