The Bush Whacker community is needed once again! A storm has hit Bushwhackia, and a group organizing a relief effort needs help! You and your fellow players can contribute to their quest!

See them on Amicus Isle before Noon Pacific on Monday October 1st for a limited time community quest! Assuming the community is successful, you can pick up your reward from them any time before Tuesday October 2nd at Noon Pacific.

Storm Relief Effort Community Quest (September 28th, 2018)

- Limited time community quest with unique rewards (Sept 28th - Oct 1st)
- 2 part community quest to first gather supplies for storm survivors, then take those supplies to survivors.
- All players gain rewards for completing the goal.
- Individual players gain currency (Relief Effort Coupons) for completing quests.
- Currency can be spent at special store for unique items.

- Added 3 new pets available in standard pet packs from Noon Pacific Sept 28th to Noon Pacific Oct 1st

- Changed the costs of the White Unicorn Mount to include the small feeds also used for the Horse Head custom item, which can only be purchased once.

Five all-new Taskmasters have joined Crusaders of the Lost Idols!

Taskmasters are purchased with either Rubies or real money, and can click monsters, level Crusaders, and use activated abilities. And if you add three Taskmasters to click monsters, they'll also pick everything up for you! Awesome!

What are Taskmasters?

Taskmasters are purchased with either Rubies or real money, and can be assigned to tasks in-game like clicking monsters, leveling Crusaders, using activated abilities, and automatically progress to the next Area. Additionally, adding three Taskmasters to clicking monsters will also have the added benefit of picking up all gold and quest items instantly, helping to speed up your progression even further!

• Three Taskmasters, Computron 9000, Yves the Butler, and Ruby the Dragon, are available to purchase for 1,000, 5,000, and 15,000 rubies each.


• Two Taskmasters, Otto von Click and Molly the Mouser, are available in DLC packs, which also include legendary catalysts, spawn speed buffs, and crafting materials.

Note: This feature is only available in the computer version of Crusaders at this time.

The party has saved the world from the Death Curse, but their work in Chult is not yet finished. While on their way back to Port Nyanzaru, the party explores ancient ruins, crosses paths with Red Wizards, liberates a mine from a dragon, and runs into an ancient hero and his Saurial companion.

Today's update to the Tomb of Annihilation campaign brings two new adventures, The Immortal Warrior and The Wyrmheart Mine, each with a new challenging variant to complete.

Note: you will need to have completed the Tomb of the Nine Gods adventure in order to unlock these adventures!

The Immortal Warrior

The ancient ruin of Shilku offers priceless treasures and dangerous relics - the perfect place to stop by on the way back to Port Nyanzaru!

• Variant: Hold for the Red Wizards — A Red Wizard appears in every area, casting Hold Person on a random Champion and locking them out of the formation until he is defeated.

The Wyrmheart Mine

On the way to Orolunga, a dwarf asks the Champions for help retaking a dwarven mine from a dragon.

• Variant: They Who Smelt It — A skunk takes up a slot in the formation, and the smell causes adjacent Champions to deal a fraction of their normal damage.

Features:

• Added two new Tomb of Annihilation adventures: The Immortal Warrior and The Wyrmheart Mine. In order to start these new adventures, you will need to have completed the Tomb of the Nine Gods adventure.

Teach Me How to Whack!

It's time to put your knowledge of whacking bushes to good use as you help educate the next generation! Take a trip to the Event Area of the Commons and get helping!

Help three aspiring young ones learn how to whack bushes, mana whack, and power whack! Bring the Jr. Whackers some Cardboard Swords to use, found in bushes throughout the world, and they'll share the spoils of their training with you. As you help them, they gain experience, "leveling up" and will award more items with each turn-in. Each of the determined young padawans will have a daily quest to power up the spoils from their next turn-in.

One Jr. Whacker appears to have suffered a head injury, since they are idolizing Nate. Talk to them and see what's going on.

What's a funner thing to earn than your Baking badge? Nothing of course! Help one Jr. Whacker get theirs later on in the event.

Help Keisha get her camping badge again this year! Check back daily for her quest unlocks.

Junior Bush Whacker Event 2018 Update (September 12th, 2018)

- Updated the Junior Bush Whacker Event for 2018

Sasha's Schoolhouse Scourge 3 runs until Tuesday, September 25th at 12:00pm PDT, and introduces Zoraeban, Demonic Angel!

New Tier 3 Crusader: Zoraeban, Demonic Angel

He's part angel, part demon, and all brooding 90s: Zoraeban, Demonic Angel is here to do damage and chew gum - and he's all outta gum. Something of a loner, Zoraeben boasts a leather jacket and an ear stud, and he excels in the corners of the formation.

Crusaders Return

If you haven't collected them already, you can unlock previous Tier One and Two Crusaders by completing their respective Tier One and Two Objectives. Karen, the Cat Teenager, Mr Boggins, the Substitute, Willy the Weregoat, and The Exchange Student will be available to unlock while Sasha's Schoolhouse Scourge 3 is live!

Five New Tier 3 Objectives!

• Recruit Zoraeban, Demonic Angel | Zoraeban is right the middle of the formation. Each Crusader adjacent to Zoraeban reduces global DPS by 25% (additive). Reach area 500.


• Band Practice | Three band members take up slots in the formation, causing various debuffs. These effects change over time or with monsters killed. Reach area 600.


• Rivalry | Your FIERCEST RIVAL, Delila, spawns randomly. While spawned, Delila reduces all gold found to 0 and speeds up monsters on screen. There can be only one Delila at a time.


• Take Wing | Only winged Crusaders can be used. Reach area 700.


• Math Class | Only Crusaders in prime slots may be used (2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23). Reach area 750.

Help! Where’s the Loot?

Equipment for event Crusaders can be found in Silver and Jeweled Educational Chests, which you can earn from objectives and the free play or buy in the shop. Each non-recruitment objective will drop a chest for its given tier of Crusaders, and free play will drop all-tier chests. Gear for Tier 2 and Tier 3 Crusaders will only appear in all-tier chests once you've unlocked the respective Crusaders. You can select the tier of chest you buy in the shop.

You'll have until Tuesday, September 25th at 12:00pm PDT to complete Sasha's Schoolhouse Scourge 3!

Our Champions have arrived in the quaint town of Longsaddle amidst the Brightswords festivities, hoping for some much-needed rest after a full year of touring Chult and the Sword Coast. However, they arrive to find Longsaddle under siege!

An army of Drow have come to the surface from the Underdark seeking a long-lost artifact, and it's a race against time for the Champions to discover it first...

Brightswords is our seventeenth limited-time event for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms, and the final event of Year One. This event runs until Monday, September 24th at 12:00pm Pacific, and introduces Wulfgar, Human Barbarian and the final member of the Companions of the Hall!

New Champion: Wulfgar

Wulfgar started his life in the north as the flag bearer of the barbarian Tribe of the Elk. He was bested in the assault on Ten-Towns by Bruenor Battlehammer, who decided his punishment would be five years and a day of service. Bruenor grew to love the tall barbarian, eventually seeing him as an adopted son. At the end of his service, Drizzt Do'Urden to taught Wulfgar the ways of combat and Bruenor crafted for him a mighty warhammer, named Aegis-fang. This magical warhammer bears the symbols of three of the Dwarven Gods: Moradin, Clangeddin, and Dumathoin. It is specifically attuned to Wulfgar and magically returns to his hand upon telepathic command.

Wulfgar deals AOE damage that stuns and deals additional damage to armored and stunned enemies. He has additional abilities for each other Companion of the Hall present. When you want to add Wulfgar, Son of Beornegar to your party, you can swap him with Tyril or Barrowin (Slot 10).

Brightswords Variants

• Little Eyes are Lurking — A pair of Quasits have infiltrated your party, taking up two slots in the formation and causing chaos, making it difficult to work as a team. Every 25 areas they switch positions.


• Father and Son — Wulfgar and Bruenor have set off alone, on an adventure to catch up after some lost time. Only Bruenor and Wulfgar are available, and both start in your formation. Their damage and cooldowns are dramatically improved.


• Lolth's Domain — All Drow have the blessing of Lolth. Enemies gain armor and bosses gain additional armor.

Features:

• Added the Brightswords event, our seventeenth limited-time campaign event! The event runs until Monday, September 24th at 12:00pm PDT.
• Added a new Champion: Wulfgar, the Human Barbarian.
• Added a new event Divine Favor: Tempus' Favor.
