Easter Egg-citement 2016 in BW2
Posted in Bush Whacker 2.

Joyous Easter Bushwhackers!

The Easter Bunny is back in town to bring the friendly competition of his egg hunt! That's what Easter is all about, right? The yummy chocolate eggs!

Every 8 hours, you can compete against 4 residents of the Commons in the Easter Egg Hunt! Plus, after your first Hunt of the day, you can hide eggs to set-up for the next hunt and whack monsters to keep the fields safe for the children!

Having trouble winning? Why not use some bonuses, available from the shady character in the wizard hat in the Event Area. Boosts are available for purchase for Easter Tokens after you complete your first Egg Hunt of the event.

Help make the eggs with the three turn-in stations! With all the Unpainted Eggs, Dye and Wax, we can make some pretty egg designs!

If you helped Chef Elza prepare her feast last year, she's collected new recipes from the residents of the Commons and has a whole new slew of ingredients for you to find.

Speaking of Easter Feasts, lambs are so cute, aren’t they? Help Lambchop save her fellow lambs from ending up on Easter feast tables.

Grab Jelly Beans and Peeps every 20 hours for extra Easter progress and tokens!

FAQ

How do I participate in the Easter Egg Hunt?
Talk to the NPC under the Easter Egg Hunt banner to be teleported to the hunting zone.

What do I do in the Easter Egg Hunt zone?
Click on all the crates, barrels, rocks and bushes trying to find as many eggs as you can. There are only 20 eggs hidden in all the doodads.

How do I get a perfect score in the Easter Egg Hunt?
You need to collect all 20 eggs - basically not letting any of the other hunters find any.

I’m too slow at the Hunt. How can I be better?
The NPC with the wizard hat in the event area of the Commons sells boosts for Easter Tokens. Speed up your character and distract the other hunters with his wares. Also, travel in a circle, starting in the area closest to where everyone else is being distracted.

When will the last quest unlock?
All quests will be unlocked by the 10th day of the event.

What contributes to my 100% progress?
Turning in the Unpainted Eggs, the Dye and the Wax as well as completing the Easter Egg Hunt and the quests for the folks in the event area.

Why do I want to ask friends for help?
It increases the amount of progress you get from doing a turn-in.

Do I have to do the achievements?
No. Completing the goals for the achievements is totally optional. You get either a large energy pack or a title for your character from them, no event progress.

Where can I see the achievements available and how to get them?
Either on the holiday dialog, the achievements dialog, or on the blog.

When can I do the World Wide Easter Egg Hunt?
The World Wide Easter Egg Hunt starts on Easter Sunday - March 27th - and lasts for the rest of the event.

Where do I find World Wide Easter Egg Hunt Eggs?
Once the hunt has started, you can find eggs by clicking them in many of the zones in the world. Eggs are hidden behind rocks and trees and in tricky to access locations in normal zones, secret areas, and adventure zones all over the world. Not every area has an egg hidden in it. There are 70 eggs hidden throughout the world in total, but you'll need to be done most of the content in the game to find them all.

Easter Event: Nate's Candy Conundrum

Here comes Peter Cottontail, hoppin' down the bunny trail, when *blam!* Nate's reset malfunctions. Now the Crusaders are transported to a parallel universe where they are beset by demon Easter candy. It happened, alright?

Nate's Candy Conundrum Easter event introduces two brand new Crusaders who again are obtainable when you complete the first two objectives.

Alan the Archangel is kind of a big deal in certain circles. As a top level executive in his organization, he brings the big guns when it comes to his powers. Once added to your roster, you can power him up and at level 75 he'll use some of his divine power to potentially resurrect fallen Crusaders with full health while simultaneously doing 25% damage to all enemies and forcing them back.

New Crusader: Alan the Archangel

If you've ever wondered how the Easter Bunny manages to distribute all those eggs, now you know: Automation. RoboRabbit is the mechanical workhorse of the holiday season. Rated at an impressive 1,000 candy eggs per second, he's able to cover the globe with treats for kids in every garden in the world.

New Crusader: RoboRabbit

His particular skills are as unique as he is. At level 50, RoboRabbit will store up part of your DPS and then disburse it as bonus click damage when you put your clicking to the test. At level 100, he'll boost your DPS for a whopping 15 minutes, from just making one little click! Get up to 25% bonus DPS without any gear from 25 clicks, or up to 63% DPS with his Golden Epic! Just don't let him die!

There are three other objectives for the event. You need to transport all your candy haul and the 'Candy Train' is the perfect solution. However, the train takes up four slots in your formation as you battle your way to area 150.

New Objective: Candy Train

'Hurry! Hurry!' features the real Easter Bunny, who requires an escort to area 200. However, given that he's largely unemployed because of the RoboRabbit, he's somewhat impatient and will decrease your DPS by 1% for each monster killed in an area. The longer you're in the area, the more anxious he becomes up to a max debuff of 99%!

The final new objective is 'Easter Egg Hunt'. A giant egg takes over a slot in your formation and then every 25 areas another egg will appear to commandeer a slot until nearly all the slots are occupied. It'll make reaching area 250 more than a little challenging to complete.

BW2: 2016 St. Patrick's Celebration!
Posted in Bush Whacker 2.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day Bushwhackers!

The Commons is greener than usual! That’s because the Commons Party Planning Committee is putting on a St. Patrick’s day party!

There are eight Leprechauns to whack up that will help you put on a rocking St. Patrick’s Day party! As the event goes on, the odds to whack them up gets larger, so you can get them all before it ends. Three of them will have turn-in stations for you to do and the others will have repeatable quests for you to do for event progress.

Unlocking throughout the event are previous year quest lines:

Mr. Keith is looking to put out his special brew again. Help him find the ingredients.

Seamus is in the mood to do some whacking of his own, but first he needs your help to make the perfect shillelagh.

Siobhan is throwing her version of an Irish Feast...but the dishes got lost in the bushes. Go find them for her!

FAQ

What are the different leprechauns?
You can whack up two types of leprechauns: hatted and non-hatted.
  • There are 8 hatted ones to find, 3 will man turn-in stations, and 5 will give you daily quests. You must manually whack these ones to capture them.

  • The non-hatted ones will drop items for you to turn into the turn-in stations. You can quick whack and mana whack non-hatted leprechauns when they appear if you wish. The non-hatted leprechauns will *always* drop some turn-in items, rather than just having a chance to.

How can I find the leprechauns?
Just keep whacking. You could whack them all up in a day if you wanted to. The odds to whack up hatted leprechauns will increase as the event goes on.

What adds to my event progress?
Turning in items to the Gold, Beer and Clover stations, and doing quests for folks in the event area.

Do I have to do the achievements?
No. Completing the goals for the achievements is totally optional. You get either a large energy pack or a title for your character from them, no event progress.

Where can I see all the achievements available and how to get them?
Either on the holiday dialog, the achievements dialog, or on the blog.

Why should I ask for friends to help boost turn-ins?
It increases the amount of progress you get from doing a turn-in.

New Event! Hermit's Premature Party

Hermit is way too excited for St. Patrick's Day. In his permanently inebriated state he has organized a 'knees-up' for himself and the fellow Crusaders in advance of the actual celebration of everything from the Emerald Isle.

Starting today and continuing until March 14, Hermit's premature party is a rolling booze-up of epic proportions taking place in a party house, street parade, obligatory Irish pub, and ending in Blurry Drunk Land. It's a real place; we've been there. Plus it's all happening just in time to recover before the real St. Patrick's Day a few days later.

Larry the Leprechaun

Parties are about meeting new people, and Hermit's shindig is no exception. Two new Crusaders are coming along for the ride and successfully completing their objectives will recruit them to your ranks.

Larry the Leprechaun loves gold. He has a big pot of it stashed somewhere, after all. His abilities include various ways to increase your gold generation. When he reaches Level 100, for instance, he'll increase all the gold found by a hearty 25%!

Kyle the Party Bro

The other newcomer is Kyle the Party-Bro. He's the kind of wingman you need at your side at any party. He combines his tremendous ability to consume alcohol with still being able to get his friends into a taxi and safely home at the end of the night. His technique of clearing the way of party-pooping monsters reaches it's peak at level 150 when he increases the DPS of all his fellow Crusaders by 20%.

New Objective Parade Route

Once you've recruited the two new Crusaders there are three additional objectives to play. Parade Route requires 500 idols and two floats take up four of your formation slots. Beer Before Liquor requires 1,000 idols and involves deadly pink elephants out to crush you in your stupor. The final new objective Four Leaf Clover restricts you to only four Crusaders (can you see what we did there?) at any one time and requires 1,500 idols to start.

New Content: Sanctuary Village Quest Hub
Posted in Bush Whacker 2.

Hi Whackers!

The folks of Sanctuary village need your help! With almost 100 new story and daily quests unveiled over time, you can try to reverse some of the damage caused by the Red Man and his minions. If you can access the Flux, then you can lend a hand!

The Town Crier will let you know when you can journey to Sanctuary and pick up the continuing story quests. As you finish them, you'll unlock new daily quests to do! Choose carefully though, because once you've started a Sanctuary daily quest, you won't be able to do any Cloudland daily quests that day, and vise-versa.

Completing the Daily Quests will award you Sanctuary Tokens, which can be used to buy new goodies from the store in Sanctuary Village. To start out there's a new mount, a pet with optional skins, and a bunch of leftover treasure from Nate's adventures.

We're also running a unique sale to coincide with this new content! You can get some great deals on ranch farming items like the Seed Spreader and Sprinkler until this Friday!

Chat about your Sanctuary quests on the forum!
