Hail Whackers!

It's party time in the Commons! Come join in the fun as the Bushwhackian natives celebrate Canada Day and Independence Day with a big old-fashioned barbecue and endless displays of fireworks!

Collect hot dogs, hamburgers, chickens, ribs and the rare steak to grill up for Patriot tokens and bonus energy! Find the green, red, yellow, blue and rare purple fireworks from the bushes for Fiona to put on awesome displays!

As well, help assorted party guests with their quests to make their celebration even funner! Some are one part, some are multi-part that will unlock as the event goes on so check back daily for all the fun!

First up, help Scoutmaster Sam find Globes today, so that she can see the glorious world of Bushwhackia in its entirety.

Event Achievements -- POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT

There are a total of 14 possible achievements to earn in the Patriot event 2015.

Achievements Returning for 2015
Fine Dining - Cook 5 kinds of food during the event.*
Iron Chef - Cook 300 pieces of food during the event.
Colourful Booms - Fire off 6 types of fireworks during the event. **
Many Booms - You've set of 600 fireworks during the Patriot event.
The People's Quester - Complete all of the Patriot event side quests.
The Tyrant - You overthrew Nate's illegitimate kingdom.

*If you are having trouble finding the Steak, you can buy it for Patriot tokens from an NPC in the Commons.
**The 6th firework for the quest is the one you help an NPC build later in the event. As well, if you are having trouble finding the Purple firework, you can buy it for Patriot tokens from an NPC in the event area.

Frequently Asked Questions

• When will the last quest unlock?
  All quests will be unlocked by the 10th day of the event.


• Where can I see how much meat and fireworks I've done for the achievements?
  Click on the inventory icon and then click on the Achievements list (gold star). Find Many Booms and Iron Chef to see your progress.


• Where can I buy Last Year's items?
  There are two vendors. The one near the entrance of the Event Zone has this year's items. The other is under the American balloon arch and will have all previous year items for Bush Bucks.


• What contributes to my 100% progress?
  Turning in the meats and fireworks as well as quests for the folks in the event area.
  
• Why do I want to ask friends for help?
  It increases the amount of progress you get from doing a turn-in.


• Do I have to do the achievements?
  No. Completing the goals for the achievements is totally optional. You get either a large energy pack or a title for your character from them, no event progress.


• Where can I see all the achievements available and how to get them?
  Either on the holiday dialog, the achievements dialog, or on the blog.

Hi Breakers!

It's coming up on Canada Day for us here in Developer HQ and Independence Day for our neighbours across the strait, so the Patriot Monkey is back! He needs your help to throw the most Patriotic North American party ever! It's time help him grab supplies and decorate!

Start playing the Patriot Monkey by earning Patriot Tokens from any of your open Monkeys and then clicking on him to enter his zone. Earn Patriot Gold in his special stages by whacking eggs while the Patriot Buff is on (it increases your chances for gold and multipliers!)

Earn progress for the event and unlock the higher stages by spending that Patriot Gold to decorate your scene:

• Click the "Decorate Your Scene" window to head out to the party.
  
  
  
• Click the "$" button at the lower right of the screen to access the decoration store.
• The first 6 items are the Normal items. Buy any combo of 10 of these to unlock the Silver breaking stage and decorations.
• The next 6 items are the Silver items. Buy any combo of 20 of these prizes to move onto the Gold stage and decorations.
• The last set of items are the Gold items. Purchase any 40 to earn the highest ribbon and the event trophy!

We've tweaked the costs of the decorations and the drop rate of the tokens. Let us know what you think!

There are 5 additional Extras you can trade Patriot Tokens for:

From 2013:
Firework Hammer: Small increased chance to win stars.
(Cost: 5000 event tokens)

From 2014:
Burger Hat: 50% more Monkey Break Tokens.
(Cost: 5000 event tokens)

New For 2015:
Canada Hammer: Small increased chance to win Multipliers.
(Cost: 2500 event tokens)

USA Hammer: Small increased chance to win Stars.
(Cost: 2500 event tokens)

Commonwealth Hammer: Boosts Less Nothings.
(Cost: 2500 event tokens)

These items are found in the Patriot Monkey's store on the egg breaking screen, not to be confused with the "Decorate Your Scene" store when you first enter the monkey.

The Patriot event will run until Wednesday July 8th at Noon PDT!

Celebrate your patriot plans on the forums!

To kick off the event, we're having a sale! Pick up 500 Patriot Tokens and 500 Hammers for only $5! And you can buy it up to 5 times! The sale will run until Friday June 26th at Noon PDT.

If you don't want to play the event, you don't have to. The Patriot Tokens just replace Nothing wins. You can enter the Patriot monkey without using tokens and buy Patriot crates full of goodies from his store with any tokens you do collect.

Nate enjoyed having your help so much with his Mother's Day brunch that he's asking you to do him another favor. He's looking for the perfect Father's Day gift, and he could really use your help! Come to think of it, his Father could use some help too!

Talk to him in front of the General Store in the Commons to get started!

We're also running three new Seed Packs over the weekend. The seeds in these packs award large amounts of energy, gold, or even rune dust when you harvest them! They're GREAT deals if you need a little bit more energy to complete the Father's Day quests!

Hi Shards Fans! It's event time!

A league of Explorers have set up their base camp in the event zone and invited you to come along while they investigate a Forest shard that has drifted nearby.

Venture through the various regions collecting items for all the Explorers' quests to turn in for Explorer League Credits to buy a selection of quest or reward items from the Quartermaster.

When you finish a quest, you can warp back to the camp to turn it in to the relevant character by clicking on the quest in the tracker on the left of the screen.

Talk to the expedition leader to send supplies you've gathered through the gate and reset the repeatable quests to complete them again. This ability is available every 4 hours.

Each region resets every 8 hours, or you can buy a Monster Lure or use Shardium to reset a region if you're looking to continue collecting everything right away.

If you happen to close the game while you're in the event, you'll return to the event region where you last were.

And keep your eyes open for possible secrets the shards could hold.

The event will run until Thursday July 2nd at Noon PDT and trinkets and towers will be awarded then.

All of the kids in Mrs. Robinson's class are taking their end of semester exams, and they need your help! Head to the new Examination Grounds north of the Carnival and offer your aid to Mrs. Robinson and her class! A new kid will need your help every few hours; help all six for a special reward! While you're at it, collect Shiny Red Apples for Mrs. Robinson herself. Collect enough, and you will earn a special event pet! This event will run until June 30th at noon PDT! If you completed this event before, then you may be able to collect duplicates of the house items, additional ribbons, as well as the pet if you missed it before. Good luck!

The monkeys of the islands are uber fans of board games, especially trying out new ones with their family or playing one to celebrate events like Father's Day, so the Challenge Fairy has put together a Challenge event filled with Board Games!

In this all-new Board Game Event, special Challenge Eggs will replace normal challenge eggs and appear at a higher rate than normal for the duration. Players can earn 12 event prizes of various classic board game themed items from cashing in Event Tokens. Plus, for the toughest of tough challenges, there are 3 awesome prizes! You can get a Game Piece Hat which adds 10% More Stars, a Dice Hammer which adds More Stars, and a Monkeyopoly board to place in any trophy room!

The event will run until Tuesday June 23 at Noon PDT!

Today I’m letting you know that we are now accepting applications for our first-ever player council for Egg Breaker Adventures!

The EBA Player Council will be a group of 6 to 10 EBA players that represent various aspects of the game with the passion and knowledge to talk directly with us at Codename Entertainment.

We are looking for players who are willing and able to give us meaningful feedback on different areas of the game and their thoughts on potential upcoming features.

As a part of the EBA Player Council, you will be part of a team that helps keeps Egg Breaker Adventures a continually exciting and enjoyable experience for all players.

Now for the details about what the being part of the EBA Player Council entails. Please read carefully and thoroughly to see if this opportunity is right for you.

• The Council will directly interact with Erika via Skype for the quarterly meetings. As such, it is an absolute requirement that you are willing to install and work with us on Skype.


• All Council members are required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement form.


• EBA Council members will be asked for at least a 12 month commitment to the community and the Council. We understand that real life comes up and things occur, but we’re seeking individuals who are in it for the long haul and want to be committed to this 100%.


• While we greatly appreciate the time and feedback from Council members this is strictly a volunteer position.


• This is for personal applications only. We will not be accepting nominations or applications on behalf of another player.


• All participants must be 18 years or older.


• Player selection will be based on a variety of different items.


• Players outside of Canada may apply.


• Please put the word Fairytale in your application message somewhere, just to ensure us that you're actually reading these instructions.


• Council members have to be okay with their character name and gaming site being published on our website and forums.

Chisel the magma off your shoes and brush the ash out of your hair! Investigator Kaine is back with his thirteenth mystery! See what lurks under the squishy canopies of mushrooms, causing all sorts of mischief!

If you have completed the Mushroom Core area to 100% and finished The Mystery of the Second Caldera, talk to the Town Crier to embark on some sporey fun with Kaine! Put your potion making skills to the test to cure the Mushroom Malady and walk away with the prize!
