Patriot Event 2017

It's party time in the Commons! Come join in the fun as the Bushwhackian natives celebrate Canada Day and Independence Day with a big extravagant barbecue and endless displays of fireworks!

Collect hot dogs, hamburgers, chickens, ribs and the rare steak to grill up for Patriot tokens and bonus energy! Find the green, red, yellow, blue and rare purple fireworks from the bushes for Fiona to put on awesome displays!

As well, help assorted party guests with their quests to make their celebration even funner! Some are one part, some are multi-part that will unlock as the event goes on so check back daily for all the excitement!

First up, help Scoutmaster Sam find Globes today, so that she can see the glorious world of Bushwhackia in its entirety.

New for 2017

It's Canada's 150th anniversary this year, so of course we added a new quest line about it! Complete all 8 quests as one a day unlocks starting on Saturday June 24.

Event Achievements -- POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT

There are a total of 17 possible achievements to earn in the Patriot Event 2017.

Achievements Returning for 2017
Fine Dining - Cook 5 kinds of food during the event.*
Iron Chef - Cook 300 pieces of food during the event.
Colourful Booms - Fire off 6 types of fireworks during the event. **
Many Booms - You've set of 600 fireworks during the Patriot event.
The Tyrant - You overthrew Nate's illegitimate kingdom.
The People's Quester - Complete all of the Patriot event side quests. (Updated with this year's quest)
Patriot Fireworks Launcher - You crafted a Fireworks Launcher!
Patriot Fireworks Launcher Rare - You found a Rare addition for your Fireworks Launcher!
Patriot Fireworks Launcher All Rares - You found all the Rare additions for your Fireworks Launcher!

*If you are having trouble finding the Steak, you can buy it for Celebration tokens from an NPC in the Commons.

**The 6th firework for the quest is the one you help an NPC build later in the event. As well, if you are having trouble finding the Purple firework, you can buy it for Celebration tokens from an NPC in the event area.

Frequently Asked Questions

• When will the last quest unlock?
  All quests will be unlocked by the 10th day of the event.


• Where can I see how much meat and fireworks I've done for the achievements?
  Click on the inventory icon and then click on the Achievements list (gold star). Find Many Booms and Iron Chef to see your progress.


• Where can I buy Last Year's items?
  There are two vendors. The one near the entrance of the Event Zone has this year's items. The other is under the American balloon arch and will have all previous year items for Bush Bucks.


• What contributes to my 100% progress?
  Turning in the meats and fireworks as well as quests for the folks in the event area.


• Why do I want to ask friends for help?
  It increases the amount of progress you get from doing a turn-in.


• Do I have to do the achievements?
  No. Completing the goals for the achievements is totally optional. You get either a large energy pack or a title for your character from them, no event progress.


• Where can I see all the achievements available and how to get them?
  Either on the holiday dialog, the achievements dialog, or on the blog.

- Reduced Skerbak Trial cooldowns from 7 days to 6 days 20 hours

- Fixed the Town Crier’s questwatch erroneously showing the quest hub chat options (Monday June 19th)

- Fixed the Skerbak Number Place Trial not resetting correctly (Monday June 19th)

- Vieira’s Skerbak challenge cooldown now includes seconds (Monday June 19th)

We're very sad to see a man like Adam West pass away. His work and his life were much appreciated by us in the office.

In tribute, there's a masked hero is stuck in the Commons and they need your help! Not all good deeds get rewards, but this hero seems like the generous type.

Hi Bush Whackers!

For the next couple days, there will be an air-headed visitor staying in the Commons. If you help them out, you might just get something for it! Be quick though, as they'll only be here until noon on Wednesday, June 16th!

We're also running a cloud themed mount pack from noon today (June 12th) to noon on June 14th! Be sure to check it out!

AOL Games has officially removed Bush Whacker 2 from their platform today, June 12th.

To any AOL Games players who have not transfer their progress to another platform, you can contact us at bw2support@codenameentertainment.com.

We appreciate the support you’ve given BW2 during its time on AOL Games. We’d be happy to transfer your progress to a new platform so you can continue to play.

Please create an account on a new platform before contacting us. We recommend Kongregate and Facebook. BW2 is also on Big Fish Games and Armor Games.

Once you have an account, please load Bush Whacker 2 from it and create a support ticket requesting progress from your old AOL Games account be transferred to it.

- Clarified the Explorer’s Tent daily quest descriptions, having them mention you can collect the items from Spine of the World adventures, Spine of the World Secret Areas, or the Flux as well.

Summer Sport Fun in the Sun

It's time to help the Bushwhackia Pee-Wee league coaches! They need supplies to help whip their various teams into shape and take home the AAA championship trophies! Whack them up in the bushes, starting with soccer balls and water bottles! Plus, the first coach needs some Jerseys!

Claire, the clerk from the Town Hall, needs your help to discover information about a local sports Legend! The stages of this quest will unlock throughout the event. If you completed this quest last year or the year before, different quests will replace the original ones, sending you out in the world to find more sporting memorabilia.

It's not just about supplies to keep the kids going: the parents and coaches have quests for you to embark on as well! Look for those interspersed with Claire's quest!

Plus there are Gnomes! Gnomes everywhere! Make a custom sports gnome for your ranch! You can make a Codename Entertainment logo jersey for your avatar to wear! And later on in the event, find some noisemakers to help cheer on those kiddies!
